Great pizza, good atmosphere, very friendly staff. We were actually heading to the banh place in front of it but this looked a lot more inviting with the paddling pool in front (only 2 ft deep) Good selection of draught beers, nice wood fired pizza. Unfortunately we had come here after a night of drinking and a day of heat so we didn’t fancy one of the draught beers which in hindsight was a mistake. While beautifully presented, the Vietnamese plum kombucha was too full of mushed fruit to enjoy as a refreshing drink and the butterfly pea lychee was somehow lacking in flavour, it was too sweet if I had to guess, could have done with lime juice to counter it. If I’d made the butterfly pea I’d have used lychee syrup and put the whole lychee on top so it was easier to eat, making the drink easier to replicate. Maybe a similar approach with the kombucha, not a fan of chewing my drink. Other than that though, nice place. Next time I’d stick with the old reliable pizza and a pint combo

This lovely place run by an Aussie and Vietnamese couple serves up exactly what it advertises and promises -- craft beer and tourist food. The staff are friendly and attentive. The fresh squeezed juices are delicious, and served with environmentally-friendly reusable straws - yay! (The restaurant has a policy of not serving plastic bottled water - fantastic!) l quite enjoyed the homemade cinnamon roll. The craft beer selection was great -- better than most places in Hanoi. I wasn't at all impressed with the fresh prawn spring rolls, as the shrimp quality was very poor and used weird spices that have no place in Vietnamese food. The fried spring rolls were pretty ok. But, as I said, they aren't trying to make traditional Vietnamese food -- it is what it is. I also really appreciate the oasis-like garden surrounded by trees that block the view of the smog-spewing factories which litter the area. Very good aesthetic choice. Overall, made multiple visits, and 100% recommend.

How on earth this place has 4.6 with 600+ ratings is beyond me. It was the worst food we’ve had in a month of being in Vietnam. Both our dishes were practically inedible and tasteless. I firstly ordered sausages and mashed potatoes which was a steep 180k and my partner ordered the fish and chips. My food came and it was 2 chipolata sausages on a bed of what I can only describe as slop ,but somehow with lumps of undercooked potato in it. We had to send it back and I exchanged this for the fish and chips. Only to find his food too was awful. Undercooked fish that was sloppy and gloopy instead of flakey. Picture below. I quickly changed my order to a beef burger and thought they couldn’t mess that up. Turns out I was wrong. Not only was the patty flavourless, it was again, sloppy, undercooked and like eating wet cardboard. I’ve attached a picture below of the consistency of the meat as I couldn’t finish it. The outside of the patty was cooked somewhat but the entire middle was like it was boiled. See we totally understand that cooking Western food isn’t the norm in Vietnam so we know there’s a lot of room for error and different interpretations of western dishes…and we just fancied something a little different and a taste of home. But when we saw a Western chef in the kitchen and the menu, we assumed this would be promising accompanied by the reviews. Our server was wonderful and she felt so bad that the food was so disappointing. She was so helpful and accommodating and we really enjoyed chatting to her so the front of house staff are really wonderful. It’s the food that has brought me to write this review. As we were leaving I asked the table next to us how their food was and they said it was bad and disappointing too. Sometimes you get a bad meal somewhere and I understand that things happen. But after ordering 3 dishes and all of them being awful and the table next to us not enjoying their food either, it’s not a coincidence. The ingredients looked good quality it’s just the execution of cooking them that is so so bad. The place looks fantastic and it’s super stylish, so it’s easy to think you’ll be getting good food to match the efforts of their decor and branding…. I’m sorry if this comes across as harsh but they need to have a real look at their recipes and try their own food. Save your money and go elsewhere or just skip the western food cravings altogether 😳😳

Vietnam is known for their Robusta coffee which is nuttier in flavor and stronger in caffeine. However this place pride themselves with Arabica, which is very fruity and not strong AKA westernized. They don’t even offer the traditional Vietnamese coffee as an option. Pastries are good. However, the food is super tasteless and overpriced. We thought it was only the breakfast that was bad, so we gave them another go because we liked the pastries. Our lunch was also tasteless in seasoning and flavor. This place is catered to European who don’t like seasoning. Because it is overrated or the reviews were purchased. *** I saw the staff bringing back a cake from a customer because something was wrong with it. I later heard (can understand some Vietnamese) them discussing behind the counter about the cake. Later when I was ready to take my order (cake) to go, I saw them pull the same returned slice of cake for me, I remember that the corner was cut off in the returned slice, they tried to recycle that same slice back to me! The manager pulled up at the same time, wasn’t sure what was going on, but was happy to get a newer slice for me. The staff was shocked that I knew what was going on and kept shush. The lady manager seemed helpful but I don’t think I will come back because of that. That is very unsanitary.

This place is amazing! We went for dinner and the environment was very cozy and well decorated. They have many types of beer (we really enjoyed the IPA called dragon). All the staff was extremely kind. We ordered pizza made in the stone oven, very very delicious (and also a nice option after so many days of typical vietnamise food); but they also have burgers and typical Vietnamise food. The day after, we repited. This time we made a cooking class. The teacher was Lala. She showed us their farm were they grow many vegetables, herbs and fruits that they use in their kitchen. Everything looked so fresh and nice, and made with love. Lala taught us how to cook vietnamise meat (called bun cha), fried spring rolls, mango and prawn salad (with special dressing) and coconut coffee. Then we enjoyed the food which was so delicious. We spent 3h in total and had an amazing experience, so recommendable. Thanks a lot!!

Very tempted to give this 3 stars as the service was cold and very it was very difficult to even get someone to come to your table to order another drink, if I could I would give the service 1 star. The upside is that the pizza that we had was excellent, we had the chorizo pizza. It was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The beers were reasonably priced. The pizza was pricey compared to other places and the service should have made up for this extra premium. The atmosphere was inviting and looked cool and very fashionable with craft beers and a fireplace. I would recommend visiting here, but maybe just get a cheap drink and wait and see what the service is like before you give them the money for a meal. The gingerbread latte also tasted great, which I highly recommend for a daytime drink.
