Sushi Hiroko Phú Quốc offers a pleasant Japanese-style atmosphere, but some dishes didn’t quite meet expectations. The portions were rather small, and the egg in my udon was cold — something I’ve never experienced before in any Japanese restaurant. The sushi was okay, though the rice texture and flavor were quite different from what I’ve tried elsewhere, possibly due to a different preparation method. The seafood didn’t seem very fresh, and the udon sauce tasted slightly artificial.
About 40 minutes after my visit, I experienced a stomach issue, which makes me believe that some of the ingredients might not have been completely fresh.
