This is one of those "feel like you hit the lottery" restaurants. No, it's not fancy but the seafood is SO fresh & SO excellent &, best of all, inexpensive. It's so rare to find this combination, especially when talking about seafood restaurants. It was so good we went 2 nights in a row with only 3 nights staying in Phu Quoc. The staff speak little to no English but they are quick to understand what you want & will use Google Translate, if need be. We had the garlic prawns (AMAZING) & crab fried rice. Fried rice, we assumed, would be ok/nothing special but it was terrific. We went the next night & had lobster (you can have it 1 of 4 ways) & more crab fried rice & more garlic prawns. Best of all, you're situated seaside so you get a front seat to the gorgeous western sunset. Note that this restaurant has a pretty minimal cocktail menu so we went to the seaside spot directly to the left for a little happy hour drink & then scooted over here for dinner. Recenze často nedávám, ale včera jsem byl opravdu zklamaný. Jsme na ostrově, rybářská oblast, jeli jsme po celodenním výletě na motorce s hladem do recenze dobré hodnocené restaurace. 13.12. Okolo 18 hod, byli jsme tam jediní hosté, většina mladého personálu koukala jen do mobilu…. Naše objednávka byla grilovaná ryba s mango omáčkou…. Dostal jsem smažený jinak suchý plátek ryby. Kamarád čekal grilovanou rybu a rýži, dostal ale smaženou a hranolky… zanechalo to velice ale opravdu moc špatný vliv na tuto lokalitu: řekl bych že i moje ex by rybu udělala lépe doma v Čechách než profesionální kuchaři zde ( ti za to ale asi nemůžou, problém je už asi během objednávky u mladého kluka ) byt majitelem takové restaurace na takovém místě, poskytnu jim alespoň zakládání anglické jazykové vzdělání. Ja osobně jsme cekal klasickou rybu z grilu, jak je uvedené cobra v jídelním lístku a mango omáčku…. Bohužel jsme mel větší hlad po odchodu… Ryby by na tomto ostrove neměly být problém si myslim… a není důvod tímto dobrým jídlem šetřit, ukázat zdejší kuchyni a chutě s vůni by mělo být pro restauraci u moře základ…. Ale bohužel mi to přišlo jak kdybych jedl někde v Praze ve fast foodu…. Mohlo by se zde ( tím nemyslím jen tento podnik ) zlepšit i kvalita klasického piva - nabídnete lidem 0,5litr čepovaného piva a uvidíte jak budou šťastní…. Je to mnohem důstojnější dát pořádnou sklenici studeného piva než malou plechovku . Jsem ve Vietnamu měsíc a s takovým jídlem jsme se vcwra setkali poprvé …. Mam na toto smůlu, skoro jak kdybych to přitahoval … pokaždé vidím krásné fotky a ja vždy narazím na něco co proste nesplňuje ani základní malá očekávání s malými nároky.
