Mr. Ben's Coffee & Restaurant — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

Came here for breakfast based on the amount of great reviews this place had.

We ordered two coconut coffees, one omelette, and one sticky rice. I really hate to say it but I think this might be the worst coconut coffee we’ve ever had - I’m saying this as someone who is Vietnamese. It was warm, straight milk, and pure liquid. Usually they’re more milkshake consistency of they have the coconut ice cream and the coffee poured over it. It just felt like I was drinking pure, warm milk. We did say something to the woman who ordered it about how the coffee part of it was really weak and she shared how in the past people have complained that it was too strong. I get it, it’s hard to please everyone.

Aside from the coffees, the omelette was fine and the mango sticky rice was good. I think it’s hard to mess up an omelette so we didn’t have high expectations for it. The mango was fresh and sweet and...

I usually don’t leave reviews but my family and I have been coming here every day for breakfast / lunch and it is hands down our favourite place to eat, drink coffee, hangout or get some work done in Mũi Né. It’s literally a gem and I have to praise them for everything they do so well.

Mr Ben is a family owned place that offers affordable prices for Western, Mexican and Vietnamese food, they even have steaks and Gyros! Serving sizes are generous and you get a fair amount of protein. The drinks are very solid aswell. Keep in mind that their menu is diverse so it takes some time to prep and cook everything, for a family meal expect a 30 minute wait. The drinks come quickly. You can expect to pay 40-140k for each visit. The atmosphere is humble and cozy. There is a lot of square footage and high ceilings.

This is not the first time I’ve had curry, and I’ve never received such a small amount of tofu. Instead of accepting the feedback on the taste and stinginess, you decided to respond with an attack?
