We waited over 30 minutes after placing our order, and even tables that arrived after us finished eating before we received our food. It wasn’t until we asked the waiter to check that we were informed our order had been misplaced. The experience required a lot of patience.
As an apology, they offered a 10% discount—but that was never actually applied to the bill, which only added to the disappointment.
Unfortunately, the food did not make up for the poor service. Except for the shrimp dish, most of the items were mediocre or below expectations, and the accompanying vegetables were dry and unappetizing. Regardless of the taste or service, the quality simply does not justify the high prices.
Frankly, I don’t understand how this restaurant received such high ratings. Even considering the typical tourist area pricing, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in Mui Ne.
I cannot recommend this place to other foreign visitors. Seeing so many 5-star reviews from Korean tourists, I honestly wonder if some of them were influenced by the restaurant's...
Read moreThis is an excellent place, every dish I had was cooked perfectly, service was very quick and the staff were very friendly with a few who spoke good English. Go for any of the seafood, I found the grilled oysters (20d) and cheese delicious, the butter one was a little flavour less, so maybe go for the other oyster choices.
I particularly enjoyed the garlic water spinach I had with my meals a must if you like your greens, smoky, a touch of sweetness and heaps of garlic very nice (30d). I ate 7 various oysters, a plate of super tender scallops and the greens plus some water, total cost 230,000d (about $12 AUD)...they do lobster for 850,000 per kg, so maybe 700d ($42) for a lobster, the one I saw being served to a table near me looked amazing...
I know it is hard to choose around here and this place is on the wrong side of the road for sea views, seafood selection is good, but not as extensive as others but if what you want is excellent food, this IS the...
Read moreWe got a locals tip to eat here. Sure enough, packed with Vietnamese people, while the nearby seafood restaurants were nearly empty.
The tiger prawns were the largest I've ever eaten. They showed them to us first. They were so fresh. We ordered finger clams thinking they were flat razor clams, but they were these round, meaty things that were so filling and delicious. The scallop plate and razor clam plate had about 20 each.
I wanted a crab and got one. It was challenging as a Westerner to eat. It was something between soft and hard shell crab. Meaning I had to eat shell or spend hours picking out meat. It was very crunchy but I got used to it. Just a warning. But it was delicious.
It was less than 20 Euro per person to get stuffed with...
