Came over to this restaurant based on the hotel staff recommendation and also of the good reviews. However, it seems like they tried to serve frozen seafood instead of live seafood when they realized we are not vietnamese, very disappointing and will recommend you to think twice.

We ordered live lobster but saw that they picked from the chiller with our order. When we confronted them, they then tried to pick and weigh 2 live lobsters in front us, but we cant be sure if that was eventually served.

We ordered seafood fried rice based on the hotel staff recommendation and you can see that there is no seafood at all, see my picture for yourself.

Lastly, we ordered live squid and we're expecting the fried squids to be served but it came out as calamari after a long time (probably defrosting the frozen sotong to serve)

As we ordered via the menu and pointed to exactly what we wanted, it couldn't have been a communication issue but an intentional attempt to treat us badly.

I have also feedback to the hotel and asked them to not recommend others to come here in future, totally disappointed and totally marred the good experience we have encountered in Vietnam since we arrived. If you are local, probably...

This is a very big, very local seafood restaurant right by the sea, with live aquariums where you can pick your own fish, shrimp, or crab. The setting is cool, especially if you enjoy seeing the fresh catch and choosing exactly what you want cooked.

The food itself was very good. We ordered shrimp in tamarind sauce (very tasty), a crispy fried fish (which we selected from the tanks ourselves and were happy with), and a crab (which was okay). The shrimp fried rice was also really good. Taste-wise, we were very satisfied.

However, the place had a very strong, unpleasant smell — not just fishy like a market, but a mix of old sea and other things. Cleanliness was okay at best, nothing more. The staff were friendly, but no one spoke English, so ordering was limited to pointing at the menu and hoping for the best. If you want to ask anything beyond the basics, it’s pretty much impossible.

Overall: • Great food, • Very local experience, • Setting by the sea is nice, • But strong smells, language barriers, and very basic hygiene are part...

If you're looking for fresh, delicious seafood with an unbeatable beachfront view, Nhà Hàng Hải Sản Bé Thân - Lăng Cô is the place to go! Nestled right by the stunning Lăng Cô Bay, this restaurant delivers a true sea-to-table experience, serving some of the freshest seafood you'll find in Vietnam.

The menu is packed with incredible options—grilled squid, buttery garlic shrimp, steamed clams, and the signature Lăng Cô crab were all absolute standouts. Every dish is bursting with flavor, expertly cooked, and served in generous portions. Pair it with a cold beer, and you have the perfect meal.

The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with the sound of waves adding to the experience. The staff are friendly, efficient, and always happy to recommend the best catches of the day. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and freshness of the seafood.

If you're passing through Lăng Cô or looking for an authentic, unforgettable seafood experience in Huế, Nhà Hàng Hải Sản Bé Thân is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be coming...

Floating restart that specializes in fresh seafood. The place is set right on top of the water and offers a plethora of fresh libel seafood - fish, shrimps, squid, all kinds of oysters, clams and mussles and other crustaceans - even lobsters. You can order from the menu or select from a big display of fresh catch and request the cooking still. We've had two varieties of clams in lemongrass broth, grilled spicy shrimps and buttered, grilled lobster which were good (but the latter somewhat overcooked). The setting is very casual with a view of the bay/laguna and the stuff is not very fluent in English but friendly enough. Prices are higher than the average Vietnamese restaurant but quite cheaper than prices in Europe/US
