We visited this place by chance. I literally google hot search for “banh khot” and this place was in the top one. Without reviewing other places, I found great reviews from the custs and decided this was the one.
It took us a hot min to find the correct place as the google map drove us around in circle. The restaurant was located in the small alley. If you drive a car, according to the owner, you can park right outside. It’s pretty safe. 5 mins to walk inside.
The restaurant was as the review: family owned, small and cozy. Not many tables. You can see the owner and his wife sweetly made their “banh khot”. I’ll attach the menu. Their specialty is bk so pretty much bk in the menu. Not many drink to choose from. Bk was deliz. Super tasty especially the salted egg one. Not too oil. We’ll definitely be back if we visit Vung Tau again. Sweet...
Read moreSuperb banh khot!!! Upstairs dining room which can get a bit warm, but they have a lot of fans running... We arrived late afternoon and was still busy... Put our order in and they were made fresh and crispy within minutes... Price is very reasonable at 35k per order of eight pieces... Lots of greens and herbs provided... Servers are efficient and patient.. Lots of seating available... About 30 meters down a side road but there's a sign, and the locals all know it and will direct you if you can't find it... Great spot...

They cook banh khot in front of the shop and it’s delivered upstairs by a self made elevator. We waited a bit long to get the food but it was really worth the wait.
We liked the banh khot as it was crispy and crunchy. The proportion of batter and meat was perfect. We tried them with shrimp, squid and minced meat.
We will visit again when we’re...
