Visited this hotel, beach club and restaurant, but never ever spend any cents for this brand anymore. Unsafety place with rough security. Security attitude is totally outrange. Maybe they have an experience to serve as a guard in prison, but now they serve in hotel. If you want to park your car or use parking you should explain to them that you really want it or you sure you will stay in the hotel. If you want to entrance to the lobby, you also need to explain the reason why you decided to stay here. If you going to use mobile phone on the street near the hotel you also will be checked by security, because they need to know exactly what are you doing with your phone beside the hotel. And the God bless you if you are NOT playing any games in your phone because security service strictly not allowed to play any mobile games in the hotel or any area around. When I asked reception staff about the reasons why I can not use my mobile phone in the hotel and around, and what is the reason your security staff asked me what im doing with my phone they didn't provide to me any answer. The same time it was very easy for security staff to cheat his colleges and told that i trespass restricted area, but I didn't. Outrage security staff, same time lack educated, same time not qualified for this job and out of the management control. Dear manager, if you read this review I want to invite you to any other famous hotel brad also in Vung Tau to show you and your staff how it works and how welcome the staff should be. I guess no any one want to feel as a prisoner while the stay...
Read moreThis was the first restaurant we chose to eat at upon arriving in Vung Tau and it really set the bar high. Upon entering you see the fresh seafood available in a very clean space. The seating indoors and outdoors is just stunning. If you can grab a table by the windows or outside, I highly recommend it because the views of the sea and beach are wonderful.
We ordered a 2.5kg crab that they brought to our table alive to show us the quality and size. They offered to prepare the crab in 2 ways - half steamed, half fried in garlic butter. It was easily some of the best crab I’ve had. I particularly enjoyed the garlic butter and spicy dipping sauce that was provided on the side.
In addition we ordered an egg salad and some drinks. All were good.
After our meal they gave a plate of pomelo and pineapple which was a nice surprise.
The service was top notch. Everyone is very kind, smiles a lot, and spoke English. We were attended to the entire meal. We felt very welcomed.
We arrived without a reservation at around 6pm and was able to snag one of the best tables with a view. Very thankful for our experience here!
As for cost of everything: Full disclosure we spent about 10mil VND (~$410 usd) but this was for a full crab, salad, 3 drinks, and a sparkling water. You can certainly spend much less for an...
Read moreDON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE It’s the worst experience ever at a 5 star restaurant. We made a reservation on the phone and the lady didn’t mention any specific thing until we arrived. We order Grilled seafood platter, the staff said it will take 1 hour to cook then we changed to Grilled fish, he said the fish will be cooked in 2 hours. I’m starting to confuse about their attitude toward to us. Finally I ordered squid with Thai sauce, he refused and told us it take 40 mins to do the sauce and recommend us to have stir fried squid easier for them. Wow, we’re the customers and this is no respect at all. We should have left from beginning but still ordered some to tried, spring rolls was plain, squid was salty. We saw some customers came late after us but they got their food straight away, we asked them what’s going on and they said to us we “HAVE TO ORDER FOOD BEFORE WE ARRIVE AND PAID DEPOSIT”. The lady on the phone who accepts our reservation didn’t say anything like that. BYE AND...
