I had high expectation from this restaurant. It’s one of the highest rated seafood restaurants in Vung Tau even though it costs close to double of its competitors (Oc Thu Nhien). This is why I decided to go there to have a seafood dinner.
Unfortunately for me, I left disappointed. I should have known when the restaurant was empty during dinner time on a Saturday night. Though the service staff are attentive, helpful and can speak English, I am penalising the restaurant because of the food. Let’s break down what I ordered one by one:
Crab meat fried rice There was barely any crab meat in there. A few shredded pieces. The fried rice was very dry.
Garlic butter small lobster The seasoning was great. Portion size for 2-3 people. Toughest small lobster I have ever had in my life. Just to cut the flesh, I thought I was going to break my metal fork and spoon. An absolutely let down.
Salted egg soft shell crab Presentation definitely could be improved. The picture showed a dry version so I was surprised when it came out covered in sauce. Taste and flavour is good.
Overall, I wouldn’t go back there again. Paid 980k for these 3 dishes including a...
Read moreMy family and I, all the way from Kien Giang, had an amazing dining experience at Quach Seafood Restaurant. The oysters with wasabi were incredibly fresh and flavorful, providing a unique and delightful combination of tastes. The live prawns with salt and chili were cooked to perfection, with a perfect balance of seasoning and spice. The fried rice with garlic was a delicious accompaniment, adding a savory note to the meal. I couldn't be happier with the food; it's a solid 10/10 in my book! What's more, the staff was exceptionally professional, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. And to top it off, the prices were so affordable! We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money we received. I highly recommend this restaurant for its exceptional seafood, wonderful flavors, top-notch service, and...

Nothing is free be. Warn . Couple things stand out when we order the fried rice it has crunchiness to it . I’ve been eating fried rice all my life I’ve never had fried rice with a crunchiness to it. The waitress said dry rice was added to it weird . we order some shakes. It has no sweetness to it and she said oh we don’t normally put sugar or condensed milk in the milkshake. It has no absolutely no sweetness to this smoothie, the food was mediocre. Other guests were extremely loud other foreign guest was extremely loud. Quite pricey, for some very...
