Seafood Buffet – Hotel Nikko Saigon During our 2024 visit to Ho Chi Minh City, we had the pleasure of dining at the Seafood Buffet at Hotel Nikko Saigon, and it proved to be one of the most impressive dining experiences of our trip. Known for its exceptional quality, variety, and elegant presentation, this buffet is a feast that combines the freshness of the sea with the sophistication of a five-star hotel setting.
The dining room is spacious and tastefully decorated, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. From the moment we were seated, the staff’s attentive and courteous service made us feel welcome and well looked after. Plates were cleared promptly, drinks refilled without asking, and recommendations offered with genuine enthusiasm.
The seafood selection was outstanding. Fresh oysters, plump prawns, succulent crabs, and perfectly cooked lobster tails took center stage, complemented by sushi, sashimi, and a variety of hot seafood dishes prepared to order. Each station was immaculately maintained, with an emphasis on both freshness and flavor.
Beyond seafood, the buffet offered a tempting array of salads, premium meats, and international dishes, ensuring that every guest could find something to enjoy. The dessert section was equally impressive, featuring delicate pastries, tropical fruits, and decadent cakes—perfect for ending the meal on a sweet note.
For photographers, the buffet is a visual treat. The elegant plating, colorful displays, and polished presentation of every dish provide countless opportunities for vibrant, mouth-watering shots.
We enjoyed our experience so much that we’re already thinking about returning in 2025. The Seafood Buffet at Hotel Nikko Saigon will be featured in our upcoming Photolator Guide to Vietnam, highlighted as one of Ho Chi Minh City’s must-visit dining destinations for travelers who appreciate both fine food and...
Read moreWe were disappointed and upset. This is not the first time we have dined in this place, we have been going since it opened. But I will not come here again. My wife and I came to dine, she loves fish and seafood, so she took VIP, I do not eat them at all, so I took a regular ticket. To which the waitress said that this is not possible and offered to also buy VIP, but I do not eat fish, why should I overpay for products that I do not eat. The administrator came and said that if I take a regular ticket I should sit separately from my wife, I was shocked, what kind of rudeness. We were given our money back, we left. I wonder if this applies only to foreign guests? Since local residents calmly move around the hall and at the next table. The management of this establishment, pay attention to the behavior of...
Read moreNo drinks served for diabetics. Buffet is filthy- took one bite and spit it out. Got a refund. Avoid. Owner is extremely rude in the comment below, threatening to grab our photos from their camera? Who does that? Absolutely unacceptable business practice. Also accuses me of being against Vietnamese food, which is totally wrong. I’ve eaten more types of cuisine than you even know exist… and enjoyed them. I expect my food, no matter what kind, to be presented in a healthy manner. I expect options as a diabetic. This buffet was teeming with flies. Sorry, mates… this location is a hard pass. There are many clean places to eat in VT. Unfortunately this is not one of them. Sorry if you think this is harsh, but it is the truth. It’s totally up to you whether you fix...
