Visited on a Saturday morning, and the place was packed with Da Nang locals. The uniqueness of this cafe is undeniable. If you’re bringing kids, it’s a great spot during the day, but for adults, the evening when entertainment is available might be a better experience.
The highlight of this coffee shop is its massive koi pond, complete with mist and waterfalls, creating a visually stunning centerpiece. The landscaping and architectural design of the seating areas are exceptional, making it a perfect spot to relax and take photos with friends. There’s also a quieter workspace upstairs, along with various seating zones spread throughout the venue.
Despite its size, the menu is surprisingly limited, offering only a few baked goods. Given the high foot traffic, expanding the selection especially with more specialty drinks—seems like a missed opportunity.
Service feels a bit impersonal, as orders are placed at the bar, and drinks are served in paper cups. While amenities are provided, they were not fully stocked or as tidy as expected. Note that card payments aren’t accepted. There’s parking available with an attendant, but space is limited considering the...
Read morei’ve left 5 star reviews on almost all the cafes we’ve been to in da nang but this cafe seems a little … different.
the staff doesn’t really seem friendly, probably because they know that this cafe is popular and losing a customer or two doesnt matter.
we saw some other tables with bottles of water, and had to go ask them for a bottle — typically other cafes would just provide it.
drinks are on the pricier end, tastes alright. one thing to note though was the coconut coffee was quite melted, not the typical slushy texture but more like melted milk-ish
as for extension cords, they didnt have any (which was surprising, first cafe that doesnt have one). if you’re looking to work here, note that the music is quite loud and theres not many seats near a plug.
ps. we sat at the sheltered open air area on the 1st floor. went up to the 2nd floor but it smelled like feet 🦶🏼
the vibe is indeed nice, but our experience here was a little disappointing.
UPDATE: SAW MANY BIG FAT RATS RUNNING AROUND NOT EVEN IN THE CORNERS JUST RUNNING AROUND UNDER THE TABLES AND NEAR THE KITCHEN (might be because its...
Read moreI’m really glad I got to stop by Nia Coffee while in Da Nang! The café has such a unique and calming vibe. Right when you walk in, there’s a seating area surrounded by a koi pond—very cool. Further inside, there are more seats and that’s also where you order. The space is filled with lots of greenery, so even though I came during the hot afternoon, it didn’t feel too hot (plus, they had fans too haha).
The menu isn’t super varied, but I guess that helps them focus on what they do best. I tried a few items, and the standout for me was definitely the coconut coffee—it was the most memorable one I had during my 12-day Vietnam trip! I even ordered it twice. What made it special was the crunchy shredded coconut on top. So good!
Staff were friendly and quite helpful. The toilet was clean, and there are power outlets available, perfect if you want to work or just stream videos. The Wi-Fi was fast too. Plenty of motorbike parking out front (I think it’s paid), but if you’re coming by car, you might have to park a bit farther down the road.
All in all, I’m really happy I got the chance to...
