I was at cremosa for a work dinner and had a mixed experience. The food preparation time varies depending on what you order. For instance, the Lebanese meals came out in about 15 minutes, the pepper steak in 20 minutes, and the mini platters took around 25 minutes.
The customer service was average. The waiters seemed to be overwhelmed at times, as they were present and not present, making the overall service a bit inconsistent. However, the chef deserves special mention – the Lebanese cuisines were absolutely delicious, and the mint lemonade drink was a refreshing delight.
Cremosa offers a diverse menu including Indian dishes, Lebanese cuisine, and a standard food menu. The pepper steak was cooked to perfection and very tender ,though it was too spicy for my taste. For dessert, I had the cookie and ice cream – a hot and cold treat that tasted good, although the cookie was a bit too sweet for my liking.
The restaurant has a projector for football matches and plenty of tables, making it a great spot for gatherings. However, parking is quite limited, which could be a downside...
Read moreWe love Cremosa and have been about twice a week the last month or so. Their food is pretty great, we love their Chicken Shawarma's and the Shawarma plates.
My complaint is Environmental. Drinks come with plastic straws which are put in your drink whether you want one or not. Thankfully they aren't wrapped in paper which reduces the waste a tiny bit, but straws should be something you request, not something that is given to you. The lemonade came in a glass with a plastic cover over it. It really doesn't need the plastic cover for a drink I am going to drink there. The Shawarma's are wrapped in a sort of laminated or waxed paper which I suspect won't biodegrade. Other takeaway items are in foil with a foil lined cardboard lid.
They have cokes, sprites etc in plastic bottles when in theory glass should be available from the breweries.
I will happily update my review when I see positive steps toward being more...
Read moreFood- great food, love the halloumi Service-the waiters to be honest don’t have the very best customer service, especially with locals for some reason, so that’s a little disappointing, could be wrong, open to ruling it out as “bad days” Parking- now this is where my lid was blown off. Each time I try to go there and park, the guards outside insist on a parking fee, and change the price depending on the day. If there really is a parking fee, put it in writing, because there are shades of uncomfortability dealing with the guards outside. Extremely uncomfortable and off putting
But we are talking about the restaurant right? This restaurant has the potential to actually be top 3 in Zambia, no exaggeration, if they can just sort out the service and parking. Compliments to the chef because again, the food is splendid. And to the cleaning crew as well because they tend to be the unsung heroes of...
