Happy 2025!
Had a cute little date with my friend at Aviary Lounge, we wanted to check out a spot that we've never been to, and this was a random find.
I'll go straight to the food, I went straight to the pasta section for their menu because I wasn't feeling up for having anything else. I ordered a chicken Alfredo. It was creamy and quite filling, not bad at all. I had a freshly squeezed juice (carrots, pineapple, watermelon) it was just okay, I don't think that's something you can get wrong. I had a taste from my date's plate, she ordered Kung pao chicken, which was a mix of chicken and vegetables. It was moderately spicy but quite tasty. We didn't order dessert because we were full but instead ended the night with cups of tea.
The service was interesting. The place had about 10 waitrons that we could spot, but only 4 or so were busy taking care of the patrons of the restaurant (our waiter included). He was quite slow with so many things but we understood because as he was busy attending to so many tables, his friends just stood and were chatting near the area where people were watching football. Even if they have different shifts, what's the point of them being around if they won't help out? They could work on that.
Finally, their atmosphere is actually interesting. We got there around 6 pm, it was still bright but I think the best time to go would be the nighttime. The lights made the place so much more lively. They have birds/exotic birds that you can look at before/after your meals, something kids would enjoy much more than adults. It's a nice touch to distinguish them from regular restaurants around the city.
They don't serve alcohol but they do have shisha for those...
Read moreI give a 3 Stars ✨ for the customer service. The waiter was helpful, upon arrival there was a crowd because of the cricket game on the screen. He noticed us, give us a warm welcome despite the crowd. He help us to find a table a good spot. During the order the manager who look like the owner take us through the menu. The manager was very attentive to us throughout our visit.
The flies distracted us from having a great time there. From start to finish i was just chasing the flies, hence i couldn't enjoy my time there that i preferred to pack the food for take away which have them to be mark down by 1 star ⭐. The waiter and the manager did their best with insect repellent to chase away the flies but in vain.
1 star 🌠 marked down because of the foods. To what we were expected from the special meal for the Briani, it was a total disappointment. The chicken that was supposedly cooked together with the rice was grilled chickens place in the Briani rice 🍚. The chicken taste was like " rancid" like cooked chicken that have stayed overnight. This ruined totally the food quality.
Apart the great customer service, there's room to improve on the foods quality.
A great place to watch your favorite game, family time while your kids is playing under supervision of the employee in...
Read morePaid aviary lounge a visit on a Saturday afternoon with my wife and sister and I must say the atmosphere was nice and quite quiet and vibrant. The waiters were very welcome and also ran into the manager who was very welcoming too. We were shown to our table and were told that menu's are accessed via phone by scanning their various QR codes as they serve a variety of fine cuisines. We honestly played it safe with our orders, my wife ordered the grilled chicken wrap while my sister ordered a grilled chicken burger 🍔 and I ordered a beef and cheese croissant. Waiting time for the food was roughly 30-40 mins depending on the type of meal you ordered. We really enjoyed our meal and personally I'd recommend you try out the beef and cheese croissant, it's juicy and the beef is tender and a little bit spicy. I definitely recommend paying Aviary Lounge a visit because we're definitely heading back to more meals...
