D’s Dining Cafe — Restaurant in Lusaka Province

Really disappointed with the service, I have been going to the café for two weeks due to the load shedding because I was in need of a quiet place which has electricity for me to work remotely. I always order food and drinks whenever I am there and today I was told by the head chef who was carrying out orders by the madam “apparently” that I can no longer sit at the only table which has a socket reason being that one person can’t always sit at the same table, mind you that is the only table which has a socket for me to plug my laptop. On top of that the head chef has been pestering me to give him my WhatsApp number and I am wondering if that could be the reason why I was chased.

I would have liked a proper and professional explanation to why I was chased from the Café. Extremely disappointed!!!!! This is not how people do business nor render services to people! I would not recommend this café to anyone because of the way I was mistreated after being a customer...

The Indian food is consistently really good here! Im always a happy gal. Although staff were busy with take-away orders when we arrived and we had to wait a bit to order from our table, our orders did not take long to arrive. Ordered the hot and sour soup as a starter then for mains butter chicken, jeera rice and garlic naan. The soup hit the spot in terms of spice level and deliciousness, as did the mains. The table and plate-mats could have done with a wipe down though, hence the rating which would have been higher. I recommend this place for the food but not necessarily the ambience for those who prefer the bells and whistles...

I called in for take out, I got there to collect, I was given a pacet to which i asked is that everything (butter chicken & mutton roganjosh) the guy said yes. While waiting for my receipt I told my son to confirm everything was there. Only to find one tub covered by the naan. When asked the guy started stuttering. The chief came out and said yes I made both. They guy started fumbling and pulled the other tub from underneath the counter already in another black plastic bag!!! I left still without my receipt.
