Dacapo — Restaurant in Lusaka Province

So after so much hype, we decided to have breakfast at Decapo on a Saturday. The place is interesting in terms of the decor, it's a minimalist style with bared walls and ceiling.

Ambiance: *

Our waitress I think was trainee because she was unsure about the dishes on the menu, accompaniments and our preferences in terms of food prep. That got tedious.

Service: **

The mint cheesecake was to die for and probably the best part of our breakfast. That and the mixed berry smoothie. The breakfast itself was very salty and the waffles were dry.

The downside is that in this time of Corona, majority of the staff were not wearing face masks when handling people's food and drinks; including the kitchen staff. We lodged a complaint with the manager because they were putting their patrons at risk. They did wear their masks for a bit before reverting to going maskless.. The Atmosphere at Dacapo is good which has a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that sets the mood for a fun and exciting evening. It has got good lighting, decor, and overall ambiance. If I could rate them a zero I would. The other day I went with a friend of mine to get a drink from there(non alcoholic) and some food after I was done with class since i go to Unza. I dressed casually because I was really tired cause school was hectic so I went there to unwind. I waited for 10 min and did not get attended to and when I was talking to the stuff they were completely ignoring me when I was trying to make an order. Over roll experience there was 0/10. Never again useless service and the waiter's were so rude. Why should I dress a particular way just to eat at a restaurant that's not even a 5 star restaurant?
