I have seen endless reviews on their sushi and pizza online. Tempted to say that even though I did not try their pizza(and their pasta/other dishes), this is one of the best places I have been to in a while.
I was welcomed to this place by a waiter called Ephraim, a good 4 hours later, I was thankful that he had been so efficient and helpful in so many ways. He helped me go through the menu, recommending the dishes he thought the place served best. I was happy to have little conversations about food with someone who knew their menu so well. He checked in every now and then and made sure he was somewhere he could be seen if anything was needed. And even though he had so many tables to tend to, I was happy we all got the same attention!
The food was great, I stuck to only having sushi because I initially thought it would be tiny enough to order another main dish. The sushi was huge, a much bigger size than what most restaurants serve. The ingredients were fresh, and I was so happy that Ephraim recommended half of the sushi (Panko rolls and lemon salmon) while I chose the other two (rainbow rolls and spicy dragon). This was the highlight of my day, I would say the best I've had in the city. I indulged in dessert later on and got creamy strawberry cheesecake with a cappuccino. The cheesecake was soft and sweet(not exaggerated sweetness but a nice little sweet tooth bite).
The place is great, I don't know what I expected, but I did like their simple wooden decor and the green scenery (their plants and outside atmosphere are great to look at). I loved that their music was low. It was a great vibe. They have a pond with cute fish outside and a little bridge, picture lovers would like this spot a lot. (PS: I am obsessed with that little balcony up there😅, it felt a little fairytale like)
A well-deserved rating, I had no issue or noticed anything that was off. Their prices are great, I can't wait to go and try...
Read moreI’d give it a 3.5 honesty. It’s a good place for Italian food although they no longer make the vegetarian lasagna I wanted which is unfortunate. Nonetheless the food is of good quality and the quantity is good for a single serving. Although chips can be more for the price. Have visited the place twice but there is a noticeable difference in the consistency of the food. Ordered Ravioli which was very good the first time and the second time was a bit odd (bitterish) and told the waiter about it and they didn’t really do anything about it. Chicken Lasagna does not have any red sauce for some reason? Which is a new since traditional lasagna does have it. The cocktails are good no complains there as of now. The waiters are courteous and friendly The Ambience of the place is also nice although you may find yourself being bitten by mosquitoes a bit if you’re in for dinner.
Overall a good place if you know what’s to go for and what not. Price is more or less the same to its...
Read moreI love this place! Eataly is my go to for great pizza in Lusaka! Perfect for a date! The ambiance is nice and pretty quiet being by a busy road. I suggest the Olympia (tip, swap the mushrooms for the bacon and the marinara for the vodka sauce) or the Pincante if you like something a bit more spicy.
The service is friendly and attentive. The guys at the bar make a killer Manhattan, always perfect! The drinks here are great!
This place is great for takeaway as well! The difference in quality hasn’t changed whether I’m eating there or on my couch.
The beef or chicken lasagna is wonderful! The spinach ravioli is great for vegetarians! Also the cheese mozzarella Fritas are delicious! *tip Dip some of the garlic oil on top of anything and your taste buds will thank you!
Overall I really enjoy coming for dinner or lunch! Dinner is better I think due the lights and warm ambiance. You can’t...
