I accidentally ended up here after trying to make a reservation at Botanica. Chef Ray assisted me with making the reservation and arranging the cake which he suggested chocolate fudge. It was a little bit of an effort to figure out where the restaurant was but it’s located at the very top of the mall. Suggest parking in the outer parking lot on the 3rd level.
Everything was amazing. I had the scallop and escargot appetizer and I wanted to literally lick the sauce off that plate. Absolutely delicious!!! For entree I got the rump picanha and my wife tgot the tomahawk steak. Both was delicious but that tomahawk steak was AMAZING!!! Perfectly medium with the most amazing crust I’ve had in quite a while! I envied her dish so much! Definitely the best steak that I’ve had in all of Lusaka so far. For dessert I had the grilled pineapple which was okay. I think it needed some actual char to really bring out that sweetness, but the cake was the best cake I’ve had in awhile. Not too sweet and very light and fluffy, definitely worth the price tag. The host and hostess was very accommodating and helped a ton with the logistic of the party. All in all an amazing experience!

While the menu itself isn’t as fancy as you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant (more of a laminated paper style), the dishes on the menu truly live up to fine dining standards. The food tasted good—nothing extraordinary, but definitely well-prepared.
What really stood out was the top-tier service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and they ensured everything was seamless. I loved that they started us off with warm, complimentary bread;a small touch that makes a big difference.
The butternut soup was the best I’ve ever had, making for a perfect starter. I also tried caviar for the first time, but I didn’t quite enjoy it, maybe it’s an acquired taste. The dessert, however, was amazing.
