Second time in Vilnius and had some time to come and check out this market which is just outside the city centre. There's a great street food stall here Pilni Zandai which is worth the trip alone - see my other review - but I'd come here if you wanted to buy good for cooking or look for some stuff at the market - there's clothes and all sorts of ephemera. The main stay are amazing potatoes and carrots and squashes. Closer in you can see some amazing dried berries and fruits, they also specialise in slicing fruits that are for drying. Here there is an amazing honey stand too. Check that for sure. There is a fish hall, a smoke Hall and a mest hall. The smoke and meat halls were the most impressive. Some excellent smoothie stalls and some great fermented product stalls. People were really friendly and loved the service. This is more of a real market than the main one in town. Also some crazy stalls with random items and bric a brac.

Wow! It's really huge and in a single sentence you will get everything you need at a good price. Fresh vegetables, meat, dry fruits, bread, groceries, shoes, clothes, gloves, furniture, toilet fixtures and many more. Shop owners are gentle and mostly they take cash. A few shops I noticed they accept cards, but mostly all shops only cash. Out side the market, along the footpath you will find poor needy people are selling used items mostly (i guess) from there houses like old spoons, tv remote, jacket, shoes, kitchen utensils etc. it's really low price and i suggest to buy from them, they really doing it to just survive not for profit.

Among usual Kalvarijų market profucts and items look for a less usual eco groceries shop Pas Valentiną . Selected, tasted and tested by the owner himself there us a variety of top quality products made in small lithuanian enterprises, have a thorough look. What is least usual is that the coffee corner. .. My espresso was perfetto! And i believe now that legend of people coming here just for a shot of an espresso ( usually 😁) on saturdays. As there is no better in town🤩🥰. They come despite the fact there are no chsirs, no seats available . ( coz none of those do exist). Dont miss!

Sveiki Mieli skaitytojai! Nieko tokio, atsiperka. Tad linkiu gerai apsipirkti ir pasibūti!

very cozy market, outside the market on the sidewalk, a lot of people sell used items from clothes, shoes, electronics to kitchen items (most buyers and sellers) are elders ) inside the market are stalls of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood, clothes and many other things, in general if you are a person who likes to see how the local market is rustic, this place will not disappoint you.

The best market in the town. Here you will find clothes, fresh fruits and vegetables, here you will buy mushrooms anr berries. The market have been renovated so it has been change to the better. Around the area you can find some little caffees and restaurants or pizza places. Usually on friday and saturday they hold one of thge biggest "fly" markets!
