Chiune Sugihara Sakura Park — Attraction in Vilnius

The best place to see the Sakura blossoms in Vilnius💮 A well-kept park on the central part of the city where locals are used to spending time here, regardless of season. It is too crowded during the Sakura blossoms, that's why to take a nice picture or selfie is a real challenge) Anyway, I recommend to visit Chiune Sugihara Sakura Park in the spring and enjoy National gallery...

I already want spring. And what would spring be without cherry blossoms? These trees have taken root very well in Vilnius and every year they delight us and our guests with their flowers. One of the corners of Japan⛩️. If you can’t visit Japan these days, you can have a mini-picnic under the sakura trees or at the Swedbank...

ソメイヨシノが満開、桃色のものも七分咲きといったところ。 あいにくそばまで寄れないので、八重桜なのかどうかまではわからない。 ヴィリニュスの皆さんが日本の桜を楽しまれているのを目の当たりにし、ここまで来た甲斐があったと感無量。

そして気候の違いもあろうに、管理されている方々に感謝したい。

駐車スペースが足りておらず、もはやカオスとなっている。 それもまた、春の風物詩なのかも知れない。

センポ・スギハラ(杉原千畝)氏が混迷極まる現代に活躍していたなら、世界ももう少し平和でいられるのかなと思う。

(Someiyoshino cherry trees are in full bloom and the peach coloured ones are about seven minutes old. Unfortunately, I couldn't get close enough to see if they were yaeyosakura or not. Witnessing the people of Vilnius enjoying the Japanese cherry blossoms made us feel that it was worth coming all the way here.

I would also like to thank the people who are taking care of the cherry trees in Vilnius, even though the climate may be different.

There are not enough parking spaces and it has become chaos. This may also be a springtime tradition.
