This Georgian restaurant has left the best impressions! Deliciuos dishes, the service received was amazing and staff are so knowledgeable and make great recommendations, we will definately be back again! The staff made us feel welcomed. We used to go to Azerai everytime from Kaunas to Vilnius just to eat yesterday was our first time in UGruzina restaurant. I was amazed how the staff of UGruzina cares for their clients. Yesterday as I have mentioned we came from Kaunas first time to UGruzina restaurant. About 21:00 we ate absolutely the best meal and went out, we came back to Kaunas about 23:00 to our house and I noticed I had left my handbag with my wallet in UGruzina. I called to this restaurant after working hours the staff kindly answered my phone call about 23:00, they were already not working, I asked if my handbag was left and this amzing personnel have said Yes black handbag was left.. What amazing people work in UGruzina, I will never ever forget this!! It is very hard to find for this AMAZING STAFF and IMPOSSIBLE TO FORGET!! My boyfriends sister picked up my hand bag and wallet sent as a parcel with a bus from Vilnius to Kaunas today. And now I have every single pence, documents and cards with me! Wow! This Service was very professional and very delightful!! Highly recommend this place! If not this professional personnel this story could have had a bad ending! I want to say a BIG BIG THANKYOU to everyone in UGruzina at Kalvariju.59A-1! This will never ever be forgotten! I will come here again definately when we go from Kaunas to Vilnius again and I will say thank you to the staff in person! Highly recommend this place and personnel!...
Read moreFinally a great Georgian restaurant in Vilnius. Experience and food 10/10 ! They offered different sorts of khachapuri, and I was tempted by the Adjaruli one. It was served pretty fast and taste was great. It felt like eating it in Batumi. Staff is friendly and doing great job. The location is pretty nice and the inside is somehow cozy. Better book a table in advance. Liulia kebab was also tasty and comes with lavash and some home made sauce, rice and cooked veggies (tomato, pepper). Prices are aligned with the rest of the country. Count 25 euros for 2 people including soft drinks. This place tick all the boxes. It was colorful, full of flavor, and made us travel to Georgia. Good job !
EDIT: some changes on the menu, with new dishes, but also different price structure. If you want lulya kebab with rice it will cost you 2,5euros extra. They also reduced the quantity of veggies included with your meal. So overall, price that were already high went even higher. Count 40-50 euros for 2 people including a beer in bottle. Good quality product, and good meal. It’s fresh and tasty, but price...
Read moreWe visited Ugruzina in Vilnius as a group of four and ordered a variety of dishes: two lula kebab (lamb), one dana bastirma (beef), toyuq kebabi (chicken thighs), two bowls of rice, a yogurt sauce dish, a fresh vegetable salad with spring onion, radish, parsley, and tomatoes, and khinkali (dumplings with lamb and cheese). Everything was absolutely delicious, we all loved the food! The decor is cozy and relaxed. The vibe might depend on personal taste, but we really appreciated it. The little jars for spices/sauces, the way the salad was served, and even the plates reminded me of my childhood, which made the experience even more special. Our server was friendly and attentive, and made a real effort to give us a good experience. I’m giving 4 stars for service only because the staff member who greeted us and later took the payment seemed visibly annoyed, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable, as if we were bothering her by being there. It’s something that could definitely be improved. Overall, though, we had a great time and would...
