Bachelors' Mosque is a prominent landmark of the neighborhood of Mangalem, which is a part of the city of Berat in Albania. The spectacular edifice was designed and constructed circa 1828, and at present, is an important heritage structure of the city. It is noted for its architectural and cultural significance, and was once one of the principal religious sites of the city. It features a magnificent minaret, and its interiors are adorned with vibrant and colorful paintings. The esteemed Ministry of Culture of Albania has designated this mosque as a 'Cultural Monument'. Don't give this place a miss at any cost!
Two single young men go to Istanbul to work. and they want to do something nice from the money they earn. and they build this mosque. And this mosque takes its name from these two single men. Although it is in a very bad condition, it can be worshiped. You can ask for a key from the Berat Mufti's office on the side.
Bellissima moschea nel quartiere Mangalem di Berat, situata di fronte al ponte pedonale (Ura e Varur). Le decorazioni esterne sono ricche e dettagliate, davvero suggestive. L'ingresso è sul lato opposto rispetto alla strada principale, un po' nascosto. Purtroppo durante la nostra permanenza l'abbiamo sempre trovata chiusa.

Precioso edificio religioso con una de las fachadas más bonitas de la ciudad. La visita a su interior es más complicada porque solo abren tras el rezo.
Très jolie mosquée adossée au quartier de Mangalem À voir : les fresques colorées sur la façade. Dommage que l'on puisse pas visiter l'intérieur.
