Ski Chalet Andorra — Attraction in Canillo

Do not trust this company. If you book with them, only do it through airbnb or another service. We booked 3 nights in February and they TWICE came to us saying they "accidentally" double booked our 5br apartment on our dates and will have to move us to a smaller 3br apartment (but at the same cost somehow). This was less than 1 week before our travel dates, flights already booked, etc.

The first time I believed them, but then when I said I wanted a lower price if they want to move us to a smaller apartment, they said actually it's ok - they will leave our reservation as is.

Then 2 days later, they AGAIN came to us again and said they unfortunately double booked and will have to move us to the smaller apartment or issue a refund. Meaning they found a client willing to stay longer or pay more.

We took the refund and recommend you find somewhere else to book. If you do book with them, use a 3rd party so you are protected from their...

To begin with, the photos of this high standing penthouse fail to demonstrate the beauty of the Pyrenees that you find every morning when you get up and pour yourself your first coffee. It is like living in a postcard.

The penthouse has all the amenities you could ask for ... it's a super comfortable place to rest after a day of skiing or hiking. It has indoor parking with an elevator that takes you directly to the floor. The spaciousness of the apartment does not detract from how cozy it is with its large and comfortable sofas ... and the wood burning fireplace that is the focus of the living room is the icing on the cake.

The treatment of the owners was unbeatable ... they were very attentive to resolve any doubt or question that we had. Ah! And if you have a dog, take it to the Ski Chalet ... ours had as much fun as we did. We will be back?...

From making my initial enquiry and explaining my needs, right the way through checking in, the stay and saying a (sad) farewell, these guys couldn't be more accommodating, helpful and professional. It felt like nothing was too much. Without being intrusive, they were there with information and guidance about everything Soldeu has to offer.

The chalet is perfectly equipped and set up and the location is simply ideal. You could fall out of the bed, roll across the road, and you'd be at the ski lift. It's also a very short walk to the bars and restaurants if you want to take advantage and not cook after a good day's skiing.
