We were the only customers dining in the restaurant which was a little off putting as there were several waiters standing around just watching us eat, not really the best atmosphere, although other diners started to arrive just as we were leaving. Unfortunately the food was disappointing due to the heavy handed use of salt and garlic. For starters we ordered seafood rice and fois gras pate, the pate was covered in sea salt and the rice was so salty is was unpleasant and almost inedible. This was followed by monkfish in mushroom sauce, unfortunately the amount of garlic used in the sauce was seriously excessive and completely spoiled the dish. A mixed review of lunch today. My husband loved his lobster and pig's feet - however my potage was so hot I burnt my tongue and so I couldn't enjoy the first course at the same time my husband had his. Something for the kitchen to remember when one guest has a cold starter and the other has a hot. It's nice for one guest not to have to wait to eat while the other guest digs in. My main course was milk fed lamb which was to be served, as is usual with a green salad. I had to ask the waiter what had happened to my salad. Un auténtico ROBO. Precios desorbitados por una calidad media / mala. Dos datos. Pedí un carajillo de anís con anis del mono, me trajeron algo que no era anis del mono y no sabia demasiado bien... 10 euros! Un carajillo 10 euros! Lo peor y con mucha diferencia lo que ellos llaman arroz con bogavante... El segundo peor arroz que he comido en mi vida. Crudo pero a la vez apelmazado, sin casi sabor de fumet de pescado, 4 trozos de bogavante que se hacían bola en la boca y costaba tragar. Solo diré que aún y tener hambre dejé la mitad. 44 euros aquel arroz mal cocinado y sin sabor, apelmazado y con bogavante seco (estaba fuera de carta y no vi precio) no llegaba ni al nivel de un arroz de menú de 14 euros. Un asco, así se le hicimos saber al camarero, cuando nos preguntó si todo bien le dijimos que el arroz era directamente MALO. y por 44 euros la ración!!!! También le mostré mi sorpesa por cobrar 10 euros por un simple carajillo. He ido a buenos restaurantes que me han cobrado 5 euros por una copita de Pedro Ximenez de 30 años de antiguedad. Nos trajeron la carta de postres y no vimos nada especial y al ver que estaban a 15 euros ya ni nos molestamos. Por cierto, la mesa del al lado también pidieron el mismo arroz y también comentaron al camarero que no estaba demasiado bueno. Los canelones de gamba estaban buenos. El camamero fue muy amable y educado y profesional y así se lo hicimos saber. Calidad precio el segundo peor restaurante que he ido en mi vida. El sitio és bonito y acogedor, lástima que la comida y los precios desorbitados te hagan marchar de allí con sensación que se han aprovechado de ti. Señores, pagar mucho dinero por un sitio bonito no significa que seamos tontos.
