Quite small ,but with lots of interesting items, it can get crowded as the school children were on a trip ,didn't impact on our visit as they were so polite. It was 3 euros to enter, and we could use the wifi. Wish we had more time there. There was a lot about Christopher Columbus, a small gift shop in the corner that offers small trinkets. The museum is well worth a visit. We will return on our next trip.

The Museum of Antigua and Barbuda is ideally located in the heart of st John's, it holds within it the rich history of a proud Caribbean people. It tells about the history from the formation of islands, the indigenous people, colonizing of island, and the brutality of slavery and the fight to be free from shackles of the colonial masters.

No visit to a new country would be complete without visiting their historical sites and museums. I enjoyed learning about the history of Antigua and Barbuda. The information is well presented and compelling. I travelled here solo, but I would recommend this for a family outing as well.

Nice little museum. Some of the exhibits could use some updating. Also this is a cool building to visit as it used to be the court house. There are a couple of locomotives from the sugar cane days in front of the building and around the right side of it as well. Staff was friendly.

This museum is small but well worth a visit if you're in Barbados. It provides an overall history of the Island from its creation up through its transition away from slavery. For train Buffs they have the last remaining armored World War 1 Train around the side of the building.

Small museum details the geography and human history of the islands. Many people may wonder why it is called the Caribbean Sea, this museum shows you. You learn about the sugar plantations, slavery, rum and pirates. There is something of interest for many people.
