They had two small restaurant and I think there is only one restaurant and the other is more like a deli. I order an egg sandwich with avocado and the egg part was spongy and it was obvious it was frozen and thawed out. The actual restaurant is more like a pizza store with sandwiches and the food is not that great. The staff is mixed review since I ordered a sandwich and my waiter never checked on it even though I asked her three or four times. I finally stopped a waiter and he brought my food out so I tipped him instead of here since she kept telling my it's not ready without checking. She was pretty mean young woman and I was surprised that she was acting like that. I waited tables going to school and I know they work for tips and I always tip at least 20%-25%.
I checked out bar they had and the staff was very nice and tentative. Kudos to them.
I also played at the poker room where they play Texas hold'em. And here just like the restaurant, the review is mixed. Some nice staff and some mean for no reason even at the first contact. There was a very nice floor manager named Johnathon who was very nice and tentative as any worker should be. Dealers were also the same. I had a dealer that would put the cards in front of other people but he would put my cards too far and I almost had to get up from my seat and retrieve them. I don't remember his name but he was a shorter gentlemen with...
Read morePoker Room Review- Negatives: Ten handed play. Super slow. Automatic shufflers are broken. No free drinks/food or waitresses. Super slow cashiers and dealers. Mostly because so much money needs to be counted and exchanged all the time. They also don’t hand out chips. Instead they give you plaques that need to be changed at the table for chips (which slows the game down even more). A supervisor has to approve every exchange of money at the table. Extremely high rake. 5% uncapped. Must pay a blind no matter where you first sit down. You are always dealt in and lose your blinds if not at the table No straddle. No chops in the blind. Cannot buy peso chips with dollars. Casino does not offer any way to exchange dollars. Also no ATM at the casino. 2-5 dollar game waiting list can get complicated if your not around. Positives Offer a 2-5 game in dollars in which the rake is still 5% but it’s capped at 30 dollars withdraw per pot. Usually played Wednesday-Sundays starting at 8:00pm. Restrooms are close to tables. Free WiFi and phones allowed at the table. Food and drinks for sale in the room. Level of play in the pesos games is extremely soft. You can wear a hat at the poker table but not in the casino. Players are...
Read morePoker room review: No limit Texas hold 'em cash games run in afternoon and evenings. Casino takes a high rake on the cash games (5% no maximum) and taxes well over 30% on tournament winnings in addition to the initial cost to enter. Dealers are slow and make frequent mistakes and most of the tables don't have working auto shufflers. You must post your big blind immediately upon sitting down; no waiting for the big blind to come to you on a cash table. If you leave the table, your blinds will be auto-posted. Certain high cards I noticed were marked with fingernails on multiple occasions. The overall environment is conducive to collusion and players openly talk about what they think other players have with no rule enforcement. Play here long enough and you will deal with obnoxious, loudmouth regular players (one in particular) that should have been banned a long time ago. Keeping an eye on the other players and dealers becomes tiring. Expensive drinks by the way and probably the worst coffee I've ever tasted. It comes in a small, thin plastic cup (this is hot coffee we're talking about) dispensed from a machine sitting next to the stale, overpriced snacks sitting out in the open. Not even water is free. This is the only casino poker game in town,...
