Ribera Sur Hotel — Hotel in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

The location is close to Puerto Madero, which is convenient. My room was to the patio, so it was very quiet. The bed was large and comfortable. The place was very clean and there was daily housekeeping. The shower was very good with hot water. Tap water was drinkable. The 24h reception is a plus. Staff were mostly nice. WiFi was great, as was the lounge in the basement.

On the other hand, the rooms are a bit run down and very dark. Not nice to stay during the day. The small window I had was very dirty. Breakfast was okay but don't expect too much. Toast and a lot of sweet stuff. The coffee was good however. The location is close to San Telmo Market but otherwise not very nice. In front of the hotel is a very busy road with a lot of pollution. We had the worst nightmare someone is afraid of by staying in a hotel. The receptionist gave us the key of an occupied room!! my husband and I were shock and what to say About the couple inside the other room ! Unbelievable. The time in the hotel started like this and the rest wasn’t better, the air condition was very loud and not working good, It turn off at night and woke us up from the heat of summer nights, the faucet of the sink was broken, room too small not even enough space to open the suitcases. Woke up at night by someone putting a warning paper underneath the door at 3am about check out time and charge of late check out the last night. Disaster. I would recommend everyone to stay in...

This is a small hotel in a very convenient location, even if physically facing a not so good trafficked road like Av. Paseo Colón. But it is close to Puerto madero, the fascinating aree recently brought to a new life. And there is the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires close by (Av.
