The Plaza de Pakistán is a beautiful orchard like monument located in the heart of Parque Tres de Febrero (Park 3 February) in Buenos Aires, Argentine. Pakistan Square was Initially established in 1970s and redesigned and inaugurated in 2012 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Argentine and Pakistan. There is a plaque in the center of the park on which following verse of great Pakistani National Poet, Allama Iqbal (1877-1938) is engraved, emphasizing the importance of love for humanity: آدمیت احترام آدم است برتر از گردوں مقام آدم است Translation: It is our love for humanity which makes us human, and it is our humanity which transcends the universe. It is interesting to note that Government of Pakistan established a beautiful small park named “Argentina Park” in the heart of Islamabad in 1972 between Polyclinic and General Post Office.
