Bodega El Transito — Attraction in Municipio de Cafayate

Sept.25: our 2nd wine tasting today we walkedto was Bodega El Transito, which is in middle of the town.

Flor, our hostess was giving us a tasting in English, a tour wasn't possible as their wine yards are 200KMs further down.

We tasted 4 different ones & luckily again a white Torontes, however this one was much drier, than the one we bought this morning @Bodega Vasija Secreta.

The tasting was only ARS5.000 = €3 pp, actually cheaper than the coffee with pie...

Cómo punto a favor tiene que no hay reserva previa y que la visita más degustación es barata (ARS 1000 junio 2023). El resto no me pareció una buena experiencia, la visita empezó 15 minutos mas tarde de lo que nos dijeron que iba a empezar cuando llegamos (el guía llegó tarde), la visita fue súper apurada, sin tiempo para fotos, con el guía recitando algo de memoria y sin poder responder muchas preguntas que se le hicieron. La degustación acordé al precio pero no te permiten degustar los vinos tope de gama o ningún vino fuera de la selección de ellos ni pagando un extra por los mismos. Otro detalle es que las copas no eran de degustación, eran unas copas de "copetín" y de vidrio en vez de una copa de cristal y de tamaño adecuado para abrir el vino y poder distinguir sus aromas.
