Bodega Nanni — Attraction in Municipio de Cafayate

This is a wonderful, boutique winery which produces small quantities of high quality, delicious, organic wine.

We popped in later in the afternoon and needed to wait 10 or so minutes for the informative tour and tasting. Fernándo the guide was willing to speak in English to us, but he spoke so clearly in Spanish that it wasn't necessary and we had no problem understanding him. As with all the winery visits we have done in the area, we learned a lot of interesting details particular to the winery.

All of the wines we tasted were beautiful, aromatic, and unique in flavor. The ambiance of the winery and courtyard is lovely. Definitely one of our favorite locations in the area to simply relax and enjoy a glass of wine. ** Follow-up:. We enjoyed the wine and visit so much the first time, we returned in the afternoon the next day. The restaurant was about to close, however, the mesero was so kind and gracious, he welcomed us to enjoy a meal. He recommended the Wok de Vegetales con Lomo which was delicious. Terrible expirience with their retorno restaurant in the courtyard. We passed by sat 2.4. and asked for reservation the day after. Instead of managing it directly we were given a qr code. So the code let to a whatsapp number. I requested reservation and got a „ok“ reply. When we appeared at 7 pm the waiter had to call somebody to recognise us in the reservation list. since the restaurant was empty and looked not set up for dinner already we told the waiter we will return a hour later. We returned at 8 pm the restaurant was still empty but tables had dinner set up. No we were told the restaurant is fully booked with a group and we could only get s outdide table and the only food available for us is empanadas. So what ??? We were expecting to learn more about their organic wine production and only got a tasting of 5 premium wines for $2.200 without much info on the wines themselves except their alcohol content and ageing. The tasting was finished in less than 10minutes and we were told we could enjoy our last sip in the garden. The garden is beautiful though. Without the tour, not sure if it’s worth the visit.
