Yacu Turismo EVyT Leg N°17397 — Local services in Municipio de Cafayate

We had a wonderful time with Edit, Facundo, and Juan for four full days in the area of Cafayate. Each day was a different experience and we enjoyed each one. I highly recommend taking the time to let the pace of the location to sink in. I cannot recommend Yacu Turismo highly enough. We had an expectation of the usual mini-tour van with 6-7 other tourists, but were surprised from our first day birdwatching with Juan, that each tour was highly personalized with only the two of us.

Facundo drove us each day, and Edit was our guide for most of the tours. Juan was an excellent birdwatching guide on an early morning tour to spot the birds along the rivers. At the end of our tours, Facundo would recommend places to eat or visit during our off times. Edit gave us a personal tour of her own hometown of San Carlos.

I am an extremely detailed oriented person and had many questions prior to booking the tours, and asked many questions on our excursions. The staff at Yacu Turismo never disappointed me, and it was just simply a pleasure for us to share their love...

My wife and I went on a customized tour for the day with Oscar and had a great time. He was very knowledgeable and looked out for our well-being. His style allowed us to “discover” some of the sites and then he explained them to us. We drove to Quebrada de Las Flechas, seeing many sites along the way. Then in the late afternoon we went on an amazing hike in Quebrada de Las Conchas. Oscar shared so much with us about the geology and history of the region. Also, I am an avid birdwatcher, so he thoughtfully brought a bird book along that had the names in both Spanish and English. That was one of many details regarding how he takes care of his customers. We set up the tour through Miriam, and she was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend...

We had a fantastic tour this morning. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. It is so peaceful here, too.

Oscar is a wonderful driver/guide. He was knowledgeable and incredibly kind and helpful. With my beginner Spanish and his limited English we communicated effectively.
