Benny's Barber Shop — Attraction in Adelaide

I recently visited this hair salon and had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Edward. I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Edward is not only a talented hairstylist, but also a true professional who takes pride in his work.

Called ahead and asked if it was walk-in or if it was appointment only, said that it was for my nearly 2yo son, was told walk-ins and that there wouldn't be much of a wait. Great, we rock up half an hour later, whole shop was busy, that's fine and all, but we were completely ignored and unacknowledged, no one in front of us, the first barber finishes comes up and tells us he's getting sick and doesn't want to cut our sons hair, no worries and I was appreciative but also like, why are you even here sick. At this point someone is behind us in queue, 10 mins later another barber finishes up and the guy who came in after us is ushered to go with him. Quick awkward glance at us but still no acknowledgement at all. Walked out after half an hour of nothing, would have been happy to wait which we already were but yeah lol won't be going back

I have had great experiences previously at Benny’s, however this time I had a particularly bad experience that I had to share. I had to wait 40 mins just to get a regular cut, when there isn’t particularly lots of people waiting. The worst part is that the barber paid no attention at all while doing the cut, instead watching a football match on their phone the whole time and stopping the cut every 2 seconds. It was an uncomfortable experience and I even got cuts from this at the back of my head. To add on to it, the music was playing incredibly loudly for no apparent reason other to satisfy their barbers own needs. I hope you will improve as I am not sure what went wrong where it used to be my go to for my cuts, now I just felt like I wasted money and time on this occasion and the haircut was fairly...
