Pathetic service. Went there to attend a birthday party where the host had generously ordered a lot of dishes for the entire gathering of 50 plus people on a per head basis. I along with five other members was at a table and were served scanty food, not enough for even 2 people( two half pieces of kofta in a bowl full of gravy, served to six people). On requesting them for more food twice and waiting for everything right from salad, rice, sabzi, naan..... and even water, got food in instalments and lost our appetite in the meanwhile. The owner /manager approached and on becoming aware of the situation very rudely said that we could eat as much as we want (he missed the whole point that we were waiting to be served more efficiently). We were offended by his aggressive tone and intimidating expressions. We didn't want to spoil the mood of the host so without saying anything to the host, came back. We don't plan to visit the restaurant ever again as they lack basic respect for their customers. I believe it is not a good place to host any parties as the host, even after paying top dollar for food and arranging a lavish menu, would not know that their guests didn't get sufficient food and went...
Read moreWe ordered the Tava Goat, Chicken Chetinad, Cheese and Garlic Naan and rice and they were all delicious. The Tava Goat was hot and sizzly when served at the table and was full of flavour. It wasn't too spicy and there were actually chunks of goat, slices of onion and capsicum that were fresh and cooked perfectly (they weren't all mushy like many other indian dishes we've had). The chicken dish had a good kick of spice and heat to it and was also very generous in serving. My only comment is that the chicken itself could've been more tasty as you can tell that it was mixed (cooked) in with the curry and not cooked with the curry itself nor marinated. Albeit the dish was still very tasty, in fact there was enough sauce to go around! The garlic and cheese naan wasn't skimpy on the cheese and rice was perfectly cooked. For the price you pay and the quality of food and service you get, Delhi Club is at the top of the list for me. We will...
Read moreWorst hospitality I have ever experienced. First time when we went there, the restaurant was pretty busy and we were not served properly but we gave them a benefit of doubt and visited again on a different occasion. We were running late and called the restaurant to let them know that we are coming and will they be able to serve us and we were told that yes you can come. When we went there they said that we can't order the food not even take away. That was really disappointing. They could have offered us something which are ready to eat or anything. Despite calling the restaurant well in advance, we were not served.
And on top of that, the girls in front, they need to learn basic things, the expressions they give, one can understand easily that how unhappy they are, to see the customer. I urge to the management to please take all this into your consideration if you want to do a good business.
Definitely not going back to...
