Ordered an iced latte with four sweeteners. I was politely careful to make sure the older lady taking my order heard about the sweeteners, because you need to mix them in before pouring over ice as they don't dissolve in cold fluid. It's basic coffee-making.
Fourteen minutes later she brings the drink with no sweetener/sugar.
(And no apology for the delay either, which I saw was caused by a pick-up order of six coffees -- so she either let a large order cut in front of mine OR she knew about it when I was ordering and didn't bother to kindly let me know there was a small delay.)
I'm not the sort of person to bother writing up a lengthy negative review, in fact it is the first time I have, but when I went in to ask about why there wasn't any sweetener in my drink, the young guy making drinks explains they have been out of sweetener for a bit, while the older lady ignored me and walks away.
They took my money for a drink they couldn't make, they took ages to make it, then they brought out the wrong drink with no apology, and they ignored me and refused to help/fix it when I tried to follow it up.
Whatever this older lady is upset about, don't take it...
Read moreVery nice coffee and croissant for late breakfast/brunch outside in the sun. One thing about a few of the coffee places on Prospect Rd, is that they’re lucky enough to have outdoor seating areas - which is so great when there’s sun out! This particular cibo is lucky enough to have an outdoor area bordering the Vine St Plaza, which is just lovely. The coffee came out as I ordered it - 3/4 fill only. Cibo doesn’t usually let me down on good textured, silky froth on a Cappuccino and this one didn’t either. I asked for the croissant to be just warmed, not toasted and it was. It also was not floppy from having been put in the microwave. So they toasted it lightly, as I requested. And it was fresh tasting and absolutely delicious. A yummy and satisfying little repast before studying at the nearby library.
Oh, Cibo Prospect also has disability...

I’ve been a regular customer here and usually have a great experience — the coffee is consistently good, and the team is friendly. However, I’ve noticed that the staff member with black and blonde hair has not provided the same level of service. He doesn’t greet customers, and on multiple occasions, the coffee he’s made has been poorly prepared — lukewarm even when I specifically asked for it hot. Once, he even served our drinks in takeaway cups despite us saying we were dining in. As someone who’s a bit introverted, I didn’t speak up at the time, but this has happened more than once. I’ll likely avoid ordering if I see he’s the one making the...
