Being a customer of this GPO when in Adelaide for over twenty years I've got to say the staff are usually great. I mean it's a post office, not a Mercedes dealership, no one is going to offer you a hipster coffee while you wait. And the building is definitely one of the grandest Victorian buildings in town. This beautiful building is worth a visit; a great backdrop to a photograph and a regular meeting place for many. The Australia Post service has been downgraded over decades as email and messaging has developed but you can still send mail and packages.
