Lying on the white sand and swimming with the waves are my ways of enjoying and connecting with mother nature in this clean and beautiful place. Playgrounds are ideal for families with kids. It's only about 17km from the CBD. Parking is easy and clean as well. I can't remember the number of times I've been here because there are too many to remember. Update: Life passes quickly, like the tides that rise and fall on the beach. Each moment, like a wave, comes and goes in the blink of an eye, reminding us of the beauty and transience of existence. Standing by the shore, I witness the delicate interplay between land and sea, an ever changing landscape that reflects our lives. At the beach, time seems to slow down, urging me to be present. The soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore and the warm embrace of the sun become precious reminders to enjoy the simple pleasures. Each sunset paints the sky in vibrant hues, a fleeting masterpiece that encourages us to appreciate the beauty of this moment. The beach teaches us that although our time may be limited, the memories we create, like footprints in the sand, can leave a lasting mark on our hearts. At the end of the day, it isn't the length of our days that defines us, but how we choose to fill them. By accepting the fleeting nature of life, we can cultivate gratitude and purpose, allowing the waves of experience to shape who we are and how we impact those around us. With love,

Recently visited this place at around 6pm on a week day. This place is very calm and quiet during the week it seems. Not too many people. The beach is a white sandy one. The sea around this place is not rough. The tides arenāt harmful. A lot of people come here to enjoy their evening by fishing at the jetty. The jetty extends a long way so you actually get the feeling of walking on the sea. The grass area outside the beach is good for a picnic or family gathering. People come here for photoshoots, picnics, and celebrations. There a lot of shops too. But not too many restaurants. You can find plenty of ice creams shops.

A lovely family beach. There are several play areas for children along the foreshore. The walking paths are well maintained and are good for strolls or brisk walks. There is enough room for cyclists and scooters. The annual kite festival was on during my visit. Definitely worth seeing. There were sideshows, food vans and market stalls. The little train was running as well. I noticed that many businesses on Semaphore Road were also open. There is lots of parking but as it was a lovely day and public holiday lots of people came here and I parked on a side street and was happy to walk.

An excellent place for a morning run. You can walk with your family, play a variety of games. There is a barbecue area, there are tables. And there is also a public toilet. Now in December there is a park only allowed for growth and age. Not all attractions look new. I wonder if they have insurance? :) There is also a coffee bar. There you can have a snack or buy ice cream and coffee. Still there is an excellent children's playground. My daughter loves this place very much. We often come here to ride a bike. Ran an order and collect crabs.

Beautiful clear blue waters. Be cautious of sharp shells though if you have sensitive feet just on the waterās edge. Itās all smooth sand after that. Beach could use a seaweed/rubbish clean up but aside from that we found it to be very safe and a nice place to be. For pram, beach trolley or wheelchair access, make sure you enter the beach near the playground as there is a blue mat down to make it much easier. A brilliant idea. I didnāt like that dogs were allowed on this beach but they were all on leads which was good.

Great place for kids, adults and fur children alike. Plenty of places to get something to eat, whether it be a BBQ by the beach, fish & chips, a dining in experience or an ice cream in the heat. š¶ Dogs š¶ are allowed on and off leash during certain times when it's daylight savings (October-March) all other times off lead. (Check out local council websites for any updates, just in case anything changes). (Image of dog times at beaches sourced from walkervillevet.com.au)
