This area is a well laid out area , offering a range of things ..you can just go there for a walk , grab some fish and chips, or whatever you like from Semaphore shops and find a nice place to sit ..there are seated picnic areas. The is a awesome jetty to explore ot even go fishing . There is close parking and plenty of toilets .
There are even places to get a drink for your dog.
They have events here , rides , even food vendors..and you will have to do a giggle search for them and the dates .
There is a nice beach area close by for a walk or even a swim, but please remember this area is not patrolled..and it is connected to the sea and bitety and stingy things swim in the water . I sometimes walk abong the beach myself and I do recommend if you are like me and like to walk or wade in the water the beach footwear is also recommended too, becuse I sometimes find glass bottles in the water. As They Say .. safety third .
But seriously , Semaphore is a lovely place for everyone to enjoy and it offers things for young and old ..there is even play equipment for the kids and disability parking and toilets .
There is sealed pathways going everywhere and no need to convert your wheelchair or gopher into a four-wheel drive becuse most things are close and...

Walking on the beach, those waves gently whisper into my soul and remind me of a meaningful and worthy living life, a life in which we live empathetically, respect, and love each other instead of being unkind.
Update 1: Some photos for a beautiful sunny day this spring. Swimming while taking photos and seeing everyone relax in the warm spring sunshine is truly relaxing.
Update 2: It was a cold winter night. We had a lovely time at the public BBQ stove that couldn't have been better. Everyone gathered around the table and chatted and laughed. The space was quite quiet at night, so we could hear the sound of the ocean waves lapping. The sea scent blends with the aromatic dishes in the cold, making us feel even more deeply the warmth, yumminess, and taste of each plate. The shelters were safe and cozy, different from camping but closer to a picnic, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment together.    Read moreThis is a visitor friendly multifunction amenity. The beachfront is dog, child, family and traveller enabling. There are two wheelchair accessible tracks from the foreshore across the beach as well as a viewing platform. The volunteer driven National Railway Museum operates a steam powered minirail train for family FUN. Two kiosks offer a range of refreshments. There are several children playground equipment sets plus exercise kit for people of all ages. Plenty of lawn and free electric BBQs and picnic tables for everyone including the vegan in your life. A shared psycho, oh I mean cycle-pedestrian path meanders through the length of this incredible space. The several public toilet facilities include sensibly appointed disabled dunnies. There is a versatile jetty popular with sightseers and Fisher folk alike. A veritable plethora of bins means there is no excuse for littering! So bin it folks before it transfers to the ocean which is home to birds, seals, dolphins and fish.
