We had a very unpleasant experience with the birthday party in this place. There were some good things like a nice party room and good service but bad stuff made it irrelevant. After booking a party we were not advised that the main attraction (big inflated castle) has been removed. We had no choice as to proceed. If we new, we would book another place. During the party the place experienced an electricity outage (Western Power's issues). Therefore, all electric and inflated attractions were unavailable 1/3 of the booked time, and the air conditioning was off as well. Party bags were not provided on time bringing guests' frustration and our anxiety as we have to ask for it and insist to prepare those (it should be done in advance as they were paid in advance). I had to argue for some time to get any refund as I was told that they did everything possible and no refund will be provided. I understand that their business suffered the power outage and they got losses from that but customers should not cover that. We pay for kids' fun but not to cover their problems that should be covered by an insurance policy. Also, kids haven't received the "bounty ride" that has been paid in advance. The amount of refund I received is not sufficient in my view (less than 15% from the total cost which includes the additional paid attraction) after really unpleasant arguing with the administrator with no logic, such as they could refund more if no party bags are provided (looks like blackmail as kids were waiting and we had no choice, also we PAID for them in advance as well) - that would be just the money back for the party bags but not a refund for the lack of attractions and bad service. I attached the photo of the...

Soooo headed out to The Beach House indoor play centre today... think I will be sticking to Lollipops from now on... felt like i needed a bath in bleach after just an hour in there.... there is so much that the kids were overwhelmed and unsure what to look at which also made me question how they could possibly sanitise everything in the "infant/toddler" zone.... 🤢🤢🤢 I sat in a chair and felt something sharp dig into my back. Upon inspection the chair was broken and a screw was poking out towards the person seated (me). I'm just glad I chose that chair! There is so much potential but sadly it is missed because they appear to think more is better. I counted 10 crazy coupes, 7 toddler ride on bikes, 5 trikes, a batman car, 3 balance bikes and so many other ride ons that were basically unable to be used because there was no space without running over toys or other children. Safety and hygiene are clearly not a concern they have 🤔 the "free" arcade games appeared to not work but after my son repeatedly pressed the button (he had just seen it working) it finally started. It took about 20 presses 🙄. The staff were far from welcoming and friendly. I waited patiently to be acknowledged, wasn't so began stating children's ages and 3 x adults. She mumbled a price and I paid. She then walked off with zero acknowledgement nor explanation of the centre. We let ourselves through the gate and were instantly hit by the ickiness of the place. The outside is a disaster zone with parking bays taken up with old equipment dangerously strewn over the place. 10/10 would not recommend unless you want to...

My 1 year old son and I were playing in the toddler space. He and I were playing on two giant stuffed toys. He crawled away and I stayed sitting there for a minute watching my son. The very rude owner came up and told me adults weren't allowed to sit on the toys. I felt humiliated and I'm glad my son wasn't older because he likely would have to. There was no reason to stop an adult from sitting on the giant stuffed toys, and it was just rude. Do not recommend.

They have since written a reply which is full of lies. I didn't have socks but my partner and I got our son ready, my parter and my son went to play and I went and purchased socks. No one asked me to wear socks and I wasn't upset about it as I understand why they are needed. And no one had offered me seats or asked me to move previously. My son is turning 1 in three days, so I said 1 year old in the review.

I was unimpressed with this business before but now I am deeply concerned about their ethics, so easily lying.

I also think it's a red flag when businesses are on the replies of reviews, making excuses. I've read through the reviews now and can see many issues people have had with them, and every time they jump on and say 'we are known to be friendly.' And make up some excuse. Not worth it, keep away from this toxic place. These guys are truly awful, there are lots of great play centres around I recommend them instead...

A great indoor play option for families in Perth 👋 The Beach House in Balcatta is clean, fully air-conditioned, has gated zones for different age groups, a café on site & parents can see most of the centre (big plus). Great for toddlers through to primary-school-aged kids. Just a heads up it’s closed briefly in February for a makeover ✨ #PerthFamilies #PerthWithKids #IndoorPlayPerth #PerthMums #PerthKids

We visited here the 1st time the other day and it was really fun. My son had a ball. The huge bouncy castle obstacle course was awesome. Also the hanging balls were the kids had to run through them without being hit. There was lots for my son to do and he enjoyed it so much. I do have a little feed back though. They played a game were the kids had to ring gold coins hidden in the center which was really awesome and fun. The kids that found the coin then got a prize. My son was lucky enough to have found one which he was so excited about. The only thing I would suggest is maybe ask the parent of the child if they are aloud the Lollipop as my son lost it when I had to take it off him as he wasn't able to have the Lollipop right there and then due to his Cousins not aloud to have red food colouring. So it wasn't fair for them to watch my son have it in front of them. I only suggest this in case the child isn't able to have red food coloring and things. We highly appreciate the prize but it's just the execution of it. Maybe the staff could just say is your child aloud lollies before handing it to the child straight away. We really thank you for the Lollipop and the little game. It was lots of fun. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
