Ambulance Museum — Attraction in Charters Towers City

Excellent little museum that is volunteer run between 10-2, 7 days a week but can't confirm that they're open every day. On the brochure it says 7 days and another it says mon, wed, friday and saturday. I tried to call ahead, but it redirects to the visitor centre, with no direct number, unfortunately. I was there on a Saturday, and it was open, and the lovely lady Lynn allowed my dog to come and have a look too. What a gem of a place to visit! We spent well over an hour at this fascinating small museum today. Brian was the volunteer there and was full of interesting information, enthusiasm and jokes! Definitely worth having on the itinerary if you are visiting...
