I recently visited this café and unfortunately had a rather disappointing experience. We were lucky to snag the last table, but it quickly became clear that service was severely lacking. There was only one person serving the entire café, so we had to wait almost 20 minutes just to place our order. When the waitress finally arrived, she didn’t acknowledge us at all and just stood there staring, which made for a very uncomfortable interaction.

The drinks came out relatively quickly, but we waited over an hour for our food. To make matters worse, a table of seven who arrived 30 minutes after us were already being served their food while we were still empty-handed. It seemed like our food wasn’t even prepared until we asked about it.

During this time, I saw one table leave without receiving their food, and another table waited for an extended period before also leaving without being...

We stopped to look at the Dutch mini village and historical buildings, which was great and free for anyone to come and visit.

We then had brunch next door at Oma's, the wife and I had the Dutch tasting plate. It was ok nothing special. I wouldn't go back and order that again and neither would my wife.

The kids meals were fine, no complaints from them. The milkshakes were average, they did serve them the old school way in the large stainless cup but there was no ice cream in them which makes them extra cold. Just missed the mark from being great.

Service was good, friendly ladies, served with a smile which is nice.

The shop with all the snacks and sauces and other bits and pieces was very good. Food you definitely don't see very often so we bought some to take home.

Overall worth a visit just got to pick the right...

Stopped in at Oma’s and got the chicken & bacon burger. It was very flavourful, and had a homely feel to it. This burger hit the spot. Detailed review below:

taste 9/10 Great flavour, mouthfeel, texture. Chicken and bacon perfectly cooked. The right amount of sweet chilli sauce

value 3/5 Look, $27 is steep for a burger. I agree. BUT this burger is large, and you get a generous amount of every ingredient and at least half an avocado. Fries are complementary.

fries 3/5 They’re fine. Not disappointing, not spectacular

service 5/5 Very friendly, very helpful. Swiftly made...

Food was faultless! However, poor service and coffee. Was greeted by a young lady who clearly didn’t want to be there who took my order and forgot to give me cutlery. Ordered food and a coffee. Would firstly like to say the food was amazing! The coffee came out first and was more froth than coffee as can be seen in the picture. The experience was saved by an older lady who bought out my food, cutlery when realising it was previously forgotten and politely bought me extra hot milk to top up my cup of froth.

The lady who served us was lovely, I’m not a pancake person but these were probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had! they were fluffy and crispy on the edges, We also ordered coffees and the bacon and egg roll which were so good too, all the ingredients were quality and the prices were great. The outdoor seating was lovely with a beautiful view. We will definitely be back next time we are here.
