Another one star review from me. Stopped to have lunch while driving home to Newcastle from Brisbane. Before ordering I had to use the bathroom but there was a wait (which was fine) this included a KFC team member waiting before me. Finally it was my turn but when I went in there the toilet paper roll was empty (along with the toilet being putrid). I then had to go back out and try and get someone’s attention. Everyone was ignoring me, including what looked like the manager. It wasn’t until someone’s order was ready that I managed to asked for the toilet paper to be replaced. I had to wait what felt like 10 min before they came out. My husband went into the males to get some paper in there and I finally managed to use the bathroom.
My issue is, why didn’t the KFC team member who came out before me let me know that there was no paper and quickly replace it for me? The motivation from the staff and manager is non existent which reflects on the cleanliness of the bathroom and the restaurant itself. We struggled to find a clean table that didn’t have crumbs or leftover food on the table and bins overflowing. The table that we did sit at looked like it had been wiped with a greasy cloth. We had to wipe the table down with a refreshment towel.
Reading past reviews something needs to change regarding the cleanliness and hygiene of this store we didn’t even visit at a busy time.
I don’t want a generic copy and paste reply. I just want to let head office know (as I know there is a team moderating Google reviews) that the hygiene of this store...
Read morecame to this restaurant on a saturday so you’d expect it to be busy, no wasn’t the case there were 4 people in the store waiting for their food, the whole store is disgusting. floor was a mess chairs and tables were filthy and covered in crumbs. staff dining in on their breaks had their feet on the chairs with shoes off. toilets were were foul, looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. service was bad the lady saw me standing there waiting to order and kept doing what she was doing for at least 5 minutes until i started tapping my keys on the bench then she proceeded to serve me, asked what i wanted and said nothing else what so ever. Have a nice day would be the bare minimum for someone working in customer service. upon arrival we thought the floors were absolutely disgusting (haven’t been cleaned in DAYS or even WEEKS!) like could at least give them a sweep once or twice a day? As a customer i was thinking to myself if the floors are this bad how bad is the kitchen and all the places we cannot see? like cmon for kfc somewhere as busy as the plaza you’d think it at least would be clean and welcoming. my partner refused to even eat food from this kfc it was that bad. wouldn’t recommend kfc at the plaza to my greatest enemy’s...
Read moreWe were travelling south for Christmas used the drive through as we were going to eat our meals at a nearby park. We ordered our meals and yes there was some meals missed and we had to repeat them at the first window, the 1st operator seamed frustrated/distracted but we finalised the order and wished her a merry Christmas which seemed to make her a little happier. The next window where we collected our food, the bag was shoved through our window with the girl being so rude it was terrible. We obviously recieved frustration as the customer infront of us caused some drama. However we gave no reason to get the brunt of their frustration. When we git to the park we then discovered there were no utensils or napkins in our bag. A bit hard to eat the zinger crunch salad and the porato salad with no utensils. I called and was tild that they had run out. This information should have been given to us whwn we either ordered or by the rude employee at the second window. To add to tnis the food was squashed into the bag crushing the cold chips. We travel south regularly and we will not be visiting...
