I love Deloraine. We visit every year for Tascraftfair. At the end of the day there is always something to see down at the river. Bumblebees, baby birds with their attentive parents, ducks and geese and lots of tiny birds flitting about. The highlight this year was my first proper sighting of a platypus living in nature.. we actually saw 5 but the moment was topped off by one who charged by us right next to the riverbank.    Read moreHot water and nice spot next to the river, with beautiful trees. However, I've seen better camp sites for non-free ones (cleaner and better equipped). Not very clean (especially the barbecue). I've seen free sites cleaner. If you arrive at night and didn't notice the railway just beside, you might be surprised to be woken up by the noise of the train in the middle of the night... 🚂
