Deloraine Town Cafe — Restaurant in Tasmania

We ordered a pie and two coffees Pie was handed over the counter, however we waited for 15 minutes and no drinks arrived. On inquiring the staff member said our order had dropped on the floor, that they'd make the drinks now (no apology) We waited another 10 minutes until the drinks arrived. We were told they didn't know which was which as they'd put chocolate on both drinks. I tried my cappuccino and it tasted like it'd been made with water not milk so i returned it. I received another after another 10 minutes and it was worse than the first. Neither of us finished our coffees. Terrible service and worst coffee we have...

Stopped in for lunch and came back again to try more flavours of pies for brunch. 10/10 fan favourites so far are the chicken and camembert and the beef, bacon and cheese, closely followed by the chunky pepper steak. We plan to be back for sure. Yesterday we had the best seafood basket I've had in a long while the salad dressing was amazing and food cooked to perfection, the burger was a hit with our teen son as well. Jumped into this bakery while I was in town, having already tried out the other two, price-wise okay. Food was acceptable, nothing amazing by any stretch. Had the curried chicken pie and it was all filling no chicken. Service is average, never asked if we were eating in (which we were) and just gave us a lot of bags. You make it work, but the service here seemed to matched the taste...plain. Also the place seems...
