An historic venue which is important to me. But a note on your management.

Went to the cricket on Tuesday, had a great day watching some big hitting. However, inevitably, there came the point where security decided to implement policy in the absence of any natural ability to negotiate by starting to evict patrons from that particular section - Bay 16 or whatever it is.

Why do you encourage them by asking them to dress up, interviewing them on camera and over the P.A., putting them on the big screen and on top of all that playing the theme music to match their superhero costumes? You're just encouraging them.

The police treating it as a laughing matter was also not well received, but i didn't form contract with them.

It's very poor practice and ruins the vibe for the rest of us. You're displaying violence to children in the absence of your ability to manage your own affairs properly. Fortunately, as far as i'm aware, none of it came to actual...

Great ground! As an Indian spectators it was fun as we all love a good game of cricket and when two big bulls like India and Australia are clashing each other it'll tend to happen. Regardless of which team you support or for which player you are cheering for! At the end of the day a good game of cricket will make you happy if you are a real cricket fan! Staff over there was quite helpful. Loved the energy in this high intensity game. Love the people aroyhnd as i posted one video as well where Indian Guy Proposed Australian Girl! And she said yes and even Maxwell and other players were cheering for them as well! That's what we need more in this world. These positives will take our humanity forward not the trolling or grilling other...

Been a few times to watch the big bash cricket but this time we went and watched the first test match at Manuka oval. The ground experience was pretty good, needs more undercover areas though for the seating! Parking is shambles and the parking inspectors are out in force for every event, so keep that in mind. The best option is to park further away and walk. Just like any oval the food and beverages are quite expensive, dont be afraid to bring a box of shapes and a water bottle, will save you a fortune! Overall the oval is beautifully maintained and is a similar size to the mcg.

Manuka Oval’s rich and diverse history has proved integral in its continuous use as a sporting venue.  With a seating capacity of 13,550, the venue remains the premier site for cricket and AFL events in Canberra. The Manuka Oval precinct retains much of its original tree plantings from the 1920s, with now-large mature specimens of cypress, poplar, oak and elm trees defining the circular space of the sports ground.  The enclosure excludes the hustle and bustle of the surrounding suburbs, and helps visitors to absorb the venue and its associated events.

Great little stadium with world class facilities. There is not much public parking around the stadium but if you are keen enough, you can find it outside the stadium and surrounding streets. There are two entrances to the stadium being East and West entries. The services inside the stadium being toilets, restaurants and food stalls are great. Food is fresh and tasty but obviously a bit pricey. Overall, one of the best e periences we have had. The players were only 5 meters away.
