Today, we enjoyed a warm, sunny day here, with a light breeze making it even more comfortable. The grassy area was perfect for a picnic, and the kids had fun exploring the rock pools at low tide, discovering crabs, tiny fish, and colorful shells. The small, sheltered beach made for a safe paddling spot, and we even spotted a few dolphins swimming in the distance.

Fishermen lined the rocks, trying their luck with the local catches, while others simply relaxed, soaking in the natural beauty. The public amenities, including toilets at nearby Cooke Park, were clean and easily accessible.

As the afternoon sun started to set, we took a leisurely walk along the coastal track, enjoying breathtaking views of the waves crashing against the cliffs. The golden light reflecting on the water was the perfect way to end the day.

A fantastic beach on the south coast of nsw in the illawarra region. It is definately a beach were you only swim between the flags when it is patrolled by life savers. Especially if you are a tourist unfamilar with this beach or you are an inexperienced surf swimmer. There is a nice carpark to sit in the car and watch the surf.
