We ordered their award winning spiced Indian sweet potato pie with chilli jam and mango chutney, along with their lentil daal and mint chutney!! And crispy papadams! (Halal). The flavours were bomb and exploded in our mouths!! The owner was so gentle, warm and very friendly with us (as well as a great cook)! 🌹The vibes and atmosphere of the cafe was really heart touching and felt like dining at my own home! I highly recommend everyone to come and check this stunning cafe out!! Also check out their breakfast items too!! You won’t regret it! We had the delicious and flaky almond croissant and spinach and feta roll!! With Italian hot chocolate and coffee!! Amazing combo!! 🌹🤩❤️ Co

Had coffee and a pie two days in a row and it was all really good, I like the casual seating inside the cafe, they all have a view out the huge windows across to the park. Old mates gone and under new management as of this week, well let me tell you nothing like it was. Old mate had award wining pies and pastries, everything now looks like mass produced TIPTOP bakery stuff you'd find in a tradies takeaway, nothing wrong with that but the home made taste is sadly gone. Old mates custard tarts were my fav, made from real eggs and custard the filling firm and flavour filled now replaced with glug flavourless sugar rich slop filling and uninspiring pastry, after three bites threw 3/4 of it in the bin. Like I said I'd be very surprised if this stuff is made on premises, more likely trucked in from a mass production line somewhere Old mate will be...

This bakery's USED to be the place to go with my friends but not anymore!! This is the 2nd time in the last few months it's been awful. The coffee also quite bitter. Always open to giving the benefit of the doubt by trying a 2nd time. Not able to upload the photo I took to show the truth but I sure as hell didn't eat it. Dry, overcooked, just shy of burnt with very little filling. Absolutely appalled especially as it was at a cost of $13.00 all up.
