East Shores Gladstone is a beautiful waterfront precinct with something to offer everyone. The parklands feature a variety of attractions, including a water park, playground, museum, and outdoor cinema. There are also plenty of opportunities for picnicking, barbecuing, and simply relaxing by the water.

The water park is a particular hit with kids, with its interactive fountains and water features. The playground is also well-equipped, with a variety of slides, swings, and climbing structures.

For those who want to learn more about the region's history, the HMAS Gladstone Maritime Museum is a must-visit. The museum is housed in a decommissioned Navy boat and features a variety of exhibits on the region's maritime heritage.

The outdoor cinema is a popular spot for catching a movie on a warm summer night. The screen is located in a picturesque setting, with views of the harbor and the city skyline.

In addition to these attractions, East Shores Gladstone also features a variety of walking and cycling paths, as well as a number of public artworks. The parklands are also home to a number of events throughout the year, including concerts, festivals, and markets.

Overall, East Shores Gladstone is a fantastic place to visit for a day out with the family or friends. With its variety of attractions and stunning waterfront setting, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Here are some specific things that I like about East Shores Gladstone:

The water park is a great way to cool off on a hot day, and it's perfect for kids of all ages. The playground is well-equipped and has something for everyone, from toddlers to teenagers. The HMAS Gladstone Maritime Museum is a fascinating place to learn about the region's maritime history. The outdoor cinema is a unique and enjoyable way to catch a movie. The parklands are well-maintained and offer plenty of opportunities for picnicking, barbecuing, and relaxing by the water. East Shores is an absolute gem for families! The whole area is beautifully maintained and perfect for a day out with the kids. The water features are a huge hit and great for keeping little ones entertained. The kids’ playground is super clean and safe, and there’s heaps of space to run around.

Toilets are spotless, which is a big plus, and there are plenty of water fountains to stay hydrated. For those into fitness, there’s a well-equipped outdoor exercise area, and everything is thoughtfully laid out. There are loads of BBQs and bins, which makes it easy to set up for lunch or dinner without any hassle. Parking has never been an issue either – there’s always plenty of space.

Best of all, it never feels too crowded, even on weekends. Definitely one of the best family-friendly...

Eastern Shores is one of the jewels in the Gladstone crown. It’s a classic example of creating a unique and beautiful community asset through urban renewal. If you look closely at the details you’ll notice the integration of the locations former role as a stockyard. This includes the former conveyor systems that now provide an artistic linkage to the site’s history. The amenities include barbecues, public toilet facilities, a water park for the kids and a big screen to watch events like the State of Origin in a community setting. To cap the area off you can sneak a meal, coffee or drink in at the Moon Bar Cafe at the entrance, or stop off at Auckland House in the...
