Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre — Attraction in Gladstone Central

Well I'm gonna start of by saying the Eisteddfod was great. All the kids did a brilliant job and tried their hardest. They were all brave getting on stage in front of so many people, for some of those kids (like my own) would have been shy and nervous. I'm so proud of them all and their voices were amazing. DOWNSIDE to the lady who stopped the kids in the middle of their performance was a discrace!! They were doing fine! They were brilliant! I was absolutely gobsmacked that they had to start again and the way you had voiced it. The way you spoke was out of line as if everyone had paid top dollar. I could not believe how rude you were and how embarrassed those poor little darlings on stage must of felt. I was highly offended by this because those kids were doing a fantastic job. I'm unsure of what more you were expecting of them?? Next time let them finish and maybe a quiet word out the back would have been more professional instead of over the microphone. Attended this venue for a wedding reception held in the foyer. Have to say it was a great venue with great facilities and great staff. Food was amazing and was served in a timely fashion. If you were trying to decide on a venue to hire for a good amount of people in Gladstone I would suggest this venue 100%. Very handy being in the centre of town and also had a bar or front to allow for pre drinks and socialising before the function. Speaking for people with a disability and their carers mainly as I have not found many comments on this subject on many sites. Good entry for wheelchairs etc from rear car parks, very roomy toilets and lots of them also good disabled toilets. Easy excess to the refreshment areas.
