Visited Raby Bay Esplanade Park by myself recently. It’s a nice little green space right by the water. The paths are easy to walk on, and there’s a gentle breeze that keeps things cool. I noticed some families having picnics and a few joggers passing by. It felt quite calm, which was exactly what I needed for some time alone. The park has a few benches and picnic tables, but the playground looked a bit worn out. The view of the bay is quite nice, especially late in the afternoon. There is a pontoon for jetskiers and rowers, a small beach secluded for swimmers and its even got a bicycle track so kids can learn to ride their bikes safely. However, the council definitely needs to increase the number of BBQs as three in a park of this size is too small. It's common to see parents in the park at 6am guarding a BBQ spot for their child's birthday. Not rocket science.
