The Gympie Regional Gallery is such a beautiful, historical building to visit and browse through. It showcases exceptional art exhibitions that offers the Gympie locals and surrounding regions, as well as visitors travelling through, a well presented collection of stunning art works that Gympie region should be very proud of. The building was the original Gympie Art School built in 1905. A beautiful architecturally built building that presents fabulously for an art gallery with its massive structure of wide open spaces inside, lovely high ceilings, hallways and an ornate wooden staircase. The gallery gift shop offers a lovely well displayed range of locally made giftware. The gallery also offers different classes and workshops to suit adults and children. The groundfloor gallery is an easy walk through from the main entrance, with the stairs up to the second level gallery or a lift available too for those who may prefer to use to get to the second floor level of the art gallery to see the exhibitions on display there. This gallery is certainly well worth a visit to...

Also air conditioned and a lot nicer to hang about in on scorchers than the supermarkets lol Recommended for all of the...
