Queenslander Hotel — Restaurant in Gympie

1 star too many is my review- Ive only been to a few places in my lifetime where even the owner is as rude as the staff. What a disgraceful business owner..... it seems this accountant probably shouldn't have brought a pub haha. This pub WAS (and ill say it again- WAS!) one of the best pubs in town. Now as far as me, my family and friends are concerned its by far the worst! Considering I grew up here that might say enough. If not, visit yourself and experience all this and probably more for yourself. Toliets not working, watered down homemade vodka, food that sometimes you wouldn't feed your dog, floors sticky enough to rip your shoes off and a list that goes on and on.

Like, I could go on about how they used to rewash and rewash the disposable plastic cups and so much more but ill just advise to visit another pub, Anyone other then the Queenslander hotel infact.

Edit:- yes i was banned for life....... and Im sure im not the only one nor will i be when they retaliate to such an owner.

That doesn't make my statements untrue at all, its been common knowledge around the town for years not just now...... I class myself infact as pretty lucky now im banned from the worst pub in town. Saves my friends and family from asking me to even go there! Win win for me, even the second worst pub in town is a dam sight better then this hell hole.

Report this to google and the police, all im simply doing is reviewing a business that I truley believe is a disgrace and the reasons behind it, and thats why google have the reviews section. Like i said, make your own judgement if you dont believe me or just ask around. The proofs in...

Went there for the Halloween party they were having. On arrival I decided to get a drink for me and the missus. 2 drinks were $16.70. Handed the young bartender a $50 note. He only handed me back $15 or so in change. I called him back and said this is wrong. He then gave another $10 note to me which still didn't add up to the correct change. I was short changed at least $10. Later in the night went for another drink. Unlucky enough I managed to get the same incompetent bartender. I asked for the same drinks. He didn't know what I was asking for. He then found the drinks and I went to pay with efptos. He grabbed my card and walked away with it without telling me how much. Just took it and walked away. Also seen them re using plastic single use cups. Very poor...

Went for dinner tonight with friends to support a local business. Was a Tuesday night so not busy and 12 people including our party of 4 were waiting for food. We ordered and waited 1hr 15min for our meal!!! Saw a lady walk in with 2 x full coles bags halfway through that time. Guessing she bought our dinner...? After waiting 1hr 5min we asked the waitress/bartender how much longer it would be and she said "a few minutues" - no apology, no nothing. Finally received our meal and was a larger steak cut in half and my friends fries had clearly been reheated, but were still cold on the plate. Very dissapointed. No customer service as no update on delay...
